CONTAINER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A container may comprise a spout, a base portion, and an ovular sidewall extending away from the base portion to the spout. The ovular sidewall comprises a vertical portion, a top transition region, and a top region extending from the top transition region to the spout. The top region comprises at least two discrete linear sections having different slopes between the top transition region and the spout. Moreover, the base portion of the container defines a support surface on which the container rests, a base channel extending across the diameter of the container, and an inset concave panel aligned with a center of the container. The container additionally comprises a handle portion defining a complex-curved face surface interrupting the top transition region and the top region, and a handle extending from a bottom portion of the face surface to a top portion of the face surface.
Synthetic resin bottle
A synthetic resin bottle prevents a trunk from undergoing unsightly deformation in response to reduced pressure inside the bottle and also increases flexibility in terms of container design and secures a label attachment area sufficiently. A synthetic resin bottle includes a mouth, a trunk, and a bottom, with a reduced pressure absorbing region configured to be displaced toward the inside of the bottle in response to reduced pressure inside the bottle. The trunk includes a cylindrical-shaped straight region, which has a length of not less than 100 mm in an axis direction extending along a center axis of the trunk and in which no irregularities are provided. The straight region has a weight of not less than 11 times a weight of the reduced pressure absorbing region.
Pressure reinforced deformable plastic container with hoop rings
A plastic container comprises an upper portion including a finish adapted to receive a closure, a lower portion including a base, and a sidewall extending between the upper portion and the lower portion. The upper portion, the lower portion, and the sidewall define an interior volume for storing liquid contents. The plastic container further comprises a pressure panel located on the container and moveable between an initial position and an activated position. The pressure panel is located in the initial position prior to filling the container, and is moved to the activated position after filling and sealing the container. Moving the pressure panel from the initial position to the activated position reduces the internal volume of the container and creates a positive pressure inside the container. The positive pressure reinforces the sidewall. A method of processing a container is also disclosed.
MULTI-SERVE CONTAINER WITH OVAL CROSS-SECTION
A multi-serve polymeric container having a finish defining an opening of the container, a body, and a base. The body and the base have a substantially oval shape in cross-section, which enables the use of smaller finishes and provides for lighter weight containers.
FLUORESCEIN FORMULATIONS AND KITS
Compositions comprising a fluorescein component and benoxinate component and the corresponding uses of these compositions are described herein. These compositions have improved storage life and the fluorescein component and/or benoxinate component minimally degrade after 12 to 18 months of storage.
Container having primary and secondary support surfaces
A container includes a body including a primary support surface, a sidewall including at least one secondary support surface at an angle to the primary support surface and to a longitudinal axis of the container, and a finish extending from the body coaxially with the longitudinal axis. The container may be tilted from the primary support surface to the secondary support surface to facilitate access to product carried in the container.
Container assembly for separated flowable containers
A container assembly consisting of an outer container and an inner container is provided. The outer container has a recess that conforms in its shape to the shape of the inner container, whereby a cavity is formed in the outer container between the outer walls of the outer container and the walls of the recesses. When the containers are filled with flowable materials and are assembled, both flowable materials are isolated from each other and are not miscible. The containers have engageable threads on the mating surfaces so that the inner container can be inserted into the outer container by twisting. The unique feature of the assembly is a provision of one, two, or three locking means for securing the containers in the assembled state.
Cartridge and assembly for obtaining a beverage
A cartridge for obtaining a beverage by injecting into the cartridge a pressurized fluid, comprising a box-like body, which accommodates a substance from which it is possible to extract the beverage, and which accommodates on its inside an insert which separates the substance from a bottom wall of the box-like body, forming an interspace. The insert comprises an orifice for the passage of the beverage toward the interspace, whereas the bottom wall comprises a region which can be pierced to obtain an opening for the outflow of the beverage. In the interspace there is a basin which is arranged laterally with respect to the pierceable region in order to accumulate the beverage received directly from the orifice and make it flow out of the opening by overflowing.
Container for liquid detergent and method for the metered dispensing of detergent from the container
A container for liquid washing agent, including: a main container body for receiving the washing agent; an opening for dispensing the washing agent; a first standing base that is arranged opposite the opening and defines a filling position of the container; a second standing base that is arranged beside the first standing base and defines a storage position of the container; a grip region that extends towards the opening from a side of the first standing base remote from the second standing base; and a rolling surface that is arranged opposite the grip region and extends substantially from the second standing base as far as the opening, wherein the grip region comprises a portion which is arranged above the second standing base when the container is standing on the second standing base in the storage position.
Container structure for removal of vacuum pressure
A hot-fill PET container or bottle (10) filling with a liquid at an elevated temperature has a side wall (9) extending to a lower portion including a pressure panel (11) and a base (21) in its unfolded or pre-fill position. The panel (11) is transversely oriented and has a decoupling or hinge structure or element (13), an initiator portion (1) and control portion (5) of a steeply angled inverting conical section between 30 and 45 degrees. The control portion enables the inversion of the panel (11) into the container (10) to compensate for vacuum or reduced pressure induced within the container as the liquid cools down. The base (2) can also have a plurality of reinforcing ribs (3).
