WEARABLE APPARATUS FOR AN ANIMAL

A wearable apparatus for attaching to an animal, the apparatus comprising: a controller; and a motion sensor interfaced with the controller and configured to provide motion data to the controller, wherein the controller is arranged to implement a current behaviour modeller configured to: receive motion data from the motion sensor; and select a current behaviour from a current behaviour set comprising a plurality of predefined behaviours, such that the selected current behaviour is a prediction of an actual animal behaviour.

A lick deterrent device to deter animals from biting or chewing. The deterrent device has a flexible substrate physically conformable in three directions with conductive traces thereon. The lick deterrent device is configured for electrical connection to a removable power source. The traces are configured so that they may be contacted by an animal's tongue or saliva, so that upon contact, an electrical circuit is completed thereby delivering a mild electric shock to the animal. The lick deterrent device may be stretchable in at least one direction.

Pet location monitoring and deterrent system

A pet location monitoring and deterrent system is provided. The system includes a first pet collar assembly that transmits a first RF signal. The system includes a first pillar assembly having a first control module, a first RF receiver module, an infrared photodetector array, a first wireless transceiver circuit, and a first warning light. The system includes a second pillar assembly having a second control module, a second RF receiver module, an infrared phototransmitter array, and a second wireless transceiver circuit. The first and second pillar assemblies are disposed a predetermined distance apart from one another such that a warning area is defined in front of and proximate to the first and second pillar assemblies and a keep-out area is defined behind and proximate to the first and second pillar assemblies.

Described is system to modify and prevent the destructive behavior of household animals. The system includes two units. One unit is attached to the animal and the second unit is used as a control unit. The animal behavior modification is applied according to the distance between the units and the animal behavior.

GPS dog fence incorporating location guidance and positive reinforcement training

Individual zones are defined within a multi-zone assisted guidance region by storing a zone GPS data point target width, assigning GPS data points located within a perimeter and within the target width to a second zone, allotting GPS data points located interior of and distinct from the second zone and within the target width to a first zone; and finally ascribing unassigned GPS data points located interior of and distinct from the first zone to a safe zone. Adjacent guidance zones have unique stimulation that acts through different neurological access channels to provide behavioral guidance to an animal. The stimulation may be varied based upon direction of travel relative to a safe zone center point, and may also be varied based upon a level of training calculated during active system operation.
