Integrated building occupant protection system for persons and pets
An integrated building occupant protection system includes alarm units having a controller, one or more sensors, a timer, a transceiver, an audio alert device, and a communication device. When a sensor detects a threat, the audio alert device is activated. The transceiver transmits an event signal to mobile devices associated with the building occupants. The controller uses response signals from those devices to pinpoint the location of the occupants, which may be broadcast by the communication device. The mobile devices may be cellular telephones or pet collar devices. The system is configured to perform periodic self-tests. A system for generating revenue by selling promotional time following the system tests is also provided.
Defecation alert system and related control system and process
The defecation control system process disclosed herein includes activating a communication circuit of at least one ingestible tracker having a size and shape for travel to a rectum of a host and a transmission circuit of a monitor fixable to the host at a substantially constant distance relative to the rectum, generating at least one tracking distance based at least in part on communication between the communication circuit of the ingestible tracker and the transmission circuit of the monitor, comparing the tracking distance to a predetermined trigger distance stored in a database, and activating an electronic accessory when the tracking distance is within a predetermined threshold of the trigger distance.
Unmanned vehicle comprising a protection device
Unmanned vehicle to carry out an animal-related action, provided with a frame and a control device to control the vehicle and a locomotion device to move the unmanned vehicle, and with a protective device to protect the vehicle against obstacles, wherein the protective device includes a touchable electrical conductor which extends on the outside of, advantageously around, the vehicle, and a voltage source to supply voltage to the conductor under the control of the control device.
Method and System for Remote Monitoring, Care and Maintenance of Animals
A system for remote care of an animal includes a robotic animal caregiver that includes a housing, a wireless data communication system disposed within the housing and wirelessly communicatively coupled with an external data communications system, and a microprocessor in communication with the wireless data communication system disposed within the housing. The system further includes a smart collar to be worn by the animal operable to determine a geo-location information of the animal and communicate with the microprocessor.
CONFORMABLE AND REUSABLE LICK DETERRENT
A lick deterrent device to deter animals from biting or chewing. The deterrent device has a flexible substrate physically conformable in three directions with conductive traces thereon. The lick deterrent device is configured for electrical connection to a removable power source. The traces are configured so that they may be contacted by an animal's tongue or saliva, so that upon contact, an electrical circuit is completed thereby delivering a mild electric shock to the animal. The lick deterrent device may be stretchable in at least one direction.
ANIMAL BEHAVIOR CORRECTION DEVICE, METHOD, AND SYSTEM
Animal behavior correction device, method, and system are provided in the present disclosure. The animal behavior correction device is worn on an animal to be detected and includes a positioning module, a memory module, a physiological data acquisition module, a main control module, and a correction module. The positioning module acquires location data of the animal and defines location data of a safe area. The memory module acquires basic data of the animal. The physiological data acquisition module acquires physiological data of the animal. The main control module determines whether or not the animal is located in the safe area based on the first location data of the animal and the second location data of the safe area. When the animal is not located in the safe area, the main control module generates a correction operation and a correction intensity of the correction operation.
COMPUTER SIMULATION OF ANIMAL TRAINING SCENARIOS AND ENVIRONMENTS
A method is described herein that comprises providing through an electronic interface a simulated environment. The method includes representing a product within the simulated environment. The method includes representing use of the product within the simulated environment, wherein the represented product mimics an appearance and an operation of a corresponding physical product. The method includes providing one or more peripheral input devices for manipulating objects represented in the simulated environment, wherein the objects include the represented product. The method includes evaluating the manipulating of the represented product according to at least one criterion.
INTEGRATED TRAINING COLLAR AND METHOD OF USE
Disclosed is an animal training device and method of use. The training device has a housing in communication with a collar. The housing has a clock spring rotatably engaged about a central axis of the housing. A handle provides a user point of contact. a locking mechanism with a plunger and a plunger tube, wherein the plunger extends into the plunger tube. A tether having a first end and a second end, wherein the first end is attached to the central axis, wherein the second end is attached to the handle, and wherein the second end of the tether passes through the locking mechanism and the length of the tether is adjustable as controlled by the locking mechanism. The method comprises use of the training device in creating control and allowing for rapid adjustment of the tether length to correspond to reactions of the animal's response to the commands.
Organism Immobilization Apparatus
A device for handling and affecting a physiological state of an aquatic species with a pair of gloves, a multiplicity of electrodes, and a pulsator attached to the electrodes, so that when the pulsator is activated the current, alters the physiological state of the aquatic species.
LIVESTOCK LOCATION SYSTEM
In a headlock system having a plurality of n headlock cells, each of the n cells being adapted to enclose at least one animal; n is an integer greater than 1; a system for locating the position of at least one animal, the system comprising: at least one identification means adapted to transmit at least one identification signal associated with said at least one animal; at least one locating means adapted to generate at least one location signal associated with said at least one animal; and, a data processing system in communication with said at least one identification means and said at least one locating means, adapted to analyze said signals, said analyzed signals comprising the position within a predetermined region in said headlock system of each of said at least one animals as a function of time.
