The container lid comprises a lid collar having an abutment edge adapted for abutting against the container body abutment edge, and a lid plug-in portion. The plug-in portion has a side surface extending in the longitudinal direction and faces the inner surface of the container body, when the container lid is in a closed position. The lid collar is made of the same material as the container body and the lid collar is delimited from the container body by a slit or by weakening means.

A separable container and related method for delivering predetermined portions of product contained within a container is provided. The container has a sidewall having a plurality of frangible sections disposed at predetermined distances along the height of the sidewall. A plurality of flexible dividers are interspersed with the product in the container, each of the flexible dividers being substantially aligned with a respective frangible section of the sidewall. Sidewall segments are separable from the container to expose a predetermined portion of the product contained therein, and the flexible dividers define a boundary between adjacent predetermined portions of product to facilitate separation of the exposed predetermined product portions from a remainder of product seated within the container sidewall.

A baking container having one or more rupture lines for ease of removal and separation from a baked foodstuff is described herein. The baking container has a sidewall and a planar bottom face. One or more rupture lines may run down a height of the sidewall and across a portion or all of the planar bottom face. Rupture lines having even spacing may form a strip, and the strip may have a pull tab to easily tear through the sidewall. The strip may be reinforced with a string or ribbon. The rupture lines may be formed by perforating or weakening areas of the baking container.
