A dog collar-leash combination including a collar (1) and a leash (2) in a housing (20), which leash is made available by means of a rolling and unrolling mechanism (21). The leash (2) in the housing (20) can be unwound against a spring force. An outer end of the leash (2) has a grip (22). The collar (1) has first and second free ends (11, 12) and the housing (20) for the leash (2) is provided on the first end (11) and a loop (13), through which the leash (2) is fed, is provided on the second end (12).

A spraying leash assembly includes a leash unit that has a retractable leash such that the leash can be attached to a collar of a dog for walking the dog. A reservoir is coupled to the leash unit and the reservoir is hollow to contain a liquid. A spray nozzle is integrated into the reservoir to spray the fluid outwardly from the reservoir onto the dog thereby distracting the dog from barking. A light emitter is coupled to the reservoir to emit light. A handle is coupled to the reservoir and the handle can be gripped for carrying the reservoir and the leash unit. A speaker is integrated into the handle for emitting an audible sound to distract the dog from barking.

An animal tether system and method wherein the rate of extension and retraction of the tether and/or the length of the tether can be actively controlled at least in part as a function of the angular direction and/or speed and/or length of which the tether extends/retracts. The system can be used to maintain an animal in a non-circular boundary, such as a rectangular space, by controlling how far the tether can extend at certain angular positions. The system also allows a user to block off certain areas within a space from access by the animal.

The present invention relates generally to the field of animal leashes. More specifically, the present invention relates to an animal leash safety strap device. The device is primarily comprised of a leash, a leash housing and a safety strap. The safety strap can be secured around the wrist and/or hand of the user during use, such that the leash housing cannot be dropped by a user while it is being used to walk an animal. In this manner, a user can secure the strap around his or her wrist and/or hand and have a backup or fail-safe in the event the animal leash fails due to user error or the unexpected movement of an energetic pet.

A restraint system for simultaneously maintaining a plurality of animate objects in an untangled position while the user is hands free is provided. The present invention embodies a 360-degree waist harness that operatively associates with a plurality of retractable bungee assemblies, each bungee assembly adapted to removably attach to a comprehensive vest or harness or a child or a pet, respectively. The bungee assemblies are selectively releasable from the 360-degree belt or the comprehensive vest or harness.

The invention relates to a collar-leash assembly with integrated reel for a pet such as a dog. The leash of this collar-leash assembly can be withdrawn by unwinding, then, after use, retracted by allowing it to wind itself up. This collar-leash assembly with integrated reel for a pet comprises:—a collar (1) intended to be wound around a part of the body of the animal,—a housing (2) secured to the collar (1) and provided with a leash reel (22, 25), this housing comprising a base (4), a housing body (10), a part having a hollow, tapped center (16, 27, 31), and an assembly screw that is able to cooperate with this part (16, 27, 31), the base (4) comprising a planar part (5) having a hole (6) at its center and two branches (7) and the housing body (10) being free to rotate relative to the base (4) of the housing (2), a leash (43) of which one end is secured in the leash reel (22, 25) and—a gripping loop (3) which is secured to the other end of the leash (43) and of which the interior corresponds to the lateral perimeter (13) of the housing (2).

Certain exemplary embodiments can provide a system, which comprises a first leash handle and a second leash handle. The first leash handle comprises a first pulley and a first retractable belt. The first leash handle comprising a first weighted portion that adds at least 400 grams to a weight of the first leash handle, first pulley, and first belt without the weighted portion. The second leash handle comprises a second pulley and a second retractable belt. The second leash handle comprising a second weighted portion that adds at least 400 grams to a weight of the second leash handle, second pulley, and second belt without the weighted portion.

A retractable pet leash comprises a shell with opposite ends, a rolling disc contained in the shell, a rope wound in the rolling disc, a locking button and a locking member; the shell is provided with a mounting hole; the locking button includes a mounting seat, a pulling member and a resetting member; the mounting seat is pivoted inside the shell; the mounting seat has a main body and a sliding slot passing through the main body; the pulling member is arranged on the mounting seat, a bottom of the pulling member passes through the sliding slot to connect the resetting member; the locking member is pivoted inside the shell and has a pivoting seat, a pivoting part, a locking part and the pressing part; the locking part cooperates with adjacent teeth of the rolling disc, the pressing part cooperates with the resetting part.

A pet lease device includes a first resilient section having a first portion and a second portion. A handle section includes a connecting end engaged with the first portion of the first resilient section and a handgrip. A tail section includes a first engaging end engaged with the second portion of the first resilient section and a connecting member. An optional coupling ring is fixed to the tail section. An optional restraining section includes a fixing end engaged with the handle section and an engaging end. When the engaging end of the restraining section is not engaged with the coupling ring, the first resilient section is permitted to stretch. When the engaging end of the restraining section engages with the coupling ring, the first resilient section is not permitted to stretch.

A retractable leash and collar/harness assembly. The assembly includes a flexible handle with a hub assembly in the forward end thereof. The hub assembly contains a spring member and leash line coiled and enclosed within the hub. The leash line is connected to a collar or harness and the handle and collar or harness include a connector thereon to allow the components to be nested each other and folded to provide a compact retractable leash and collar/harness assembly which is easily transportable by the user.
