Triangular packages and methods of making the same
A triangular package includes three sides and two end tab each covering a portion of an end of the triangular package. A method of forming a triangular package includes bending side portions of stock material to form the sides of the triangular packaging and shrink wrapping the triangular package causing tabs to cover portions of the triangular package ends.
Tray With Separable Features
A tray for holding one or more articles includes a plurality of tray portions, each tray portion having a plurality of panels extending at least partially around a respective tray compartment, and a plurality of end flaps foldably connected to a respective panel of the respective plurality of panels, the plurality of end flaps of each respective tray portion including a respective plurality of top end flaps arranged to form a respective flange separably connected to a respective flange of a respective adjacent tray portion of the plurality of tray portions.
LOW VOLUME, HIGHLY ADJUSTABLE PACKAGING AND STORAGE SOLUTIONS
The present disclosure provides low volume, highly adjustable packaging that reduces surface area by 25% and overall material by 60% compared with standard boxes. In some embodiments, the presence of a telescoping sleeve, that is slightly wider than and slides over a mating sleeve, allows the length of the packaging to be adjusted. These volume and length reductions save approximately two-thirds of shipping costs. Further, in some embodiments, strategically placed scoring allows the packaging to flex and contour to the shape of a three-dimensional object to be placed in the packaging. In addition, reinforced corners protect contents of the package, and, in some embodiments, portions of the packaging are designed to be repurposed as artwork.
Tray for food products
A tray for holding at least one food product includes a plurality of panels extending at least partially around an interior of the tray, the plurality of panels including a bottom panel, a front panel, a back panel, and at least one side panel, a plurality of end flaps foldably connected to a respective panel of the plurality of panels and cooperating to form a rim extending outwardly from the plurality of panels, and locking features comprising at least one male locking feature extending from at least one end flap of the plurality of end flaps, the at least one male locking feature at least partially inserted through at least one female locking feature in a respective panel of the plurality of panels to reinforce the rim.
Container with liner
A container for holding a food product. The container can comprise a base layer and a liner at least partially attached to an inner surface of the base layer, a flange comprising a central panel of the base layer, an opening extending in the central panel, and a sidewall comprising at least a panel foldably connected to the central panel along the opening.
Packaging brace for a washing machine appliance
A method of forming a packaging brace for a washing machine appliance includes providing a flat blank. The method also includes folding a left side panel and a right side panel of the flat blank inwards towards each other. The method further includes positioning a bottom panel of the blank above an opening in a cabinet of the washing machine and inserting the bottom panel into a basket of the washing machine through the opening whereby a contoured profile of the opening urges the blank to fold and form a packaging brace for the washing machine appliance.
One-Piece, Plastic-Free Blister Package And Method
A one-piece, plastic-free blister package is disclosed. The package is formed from a one-piece card comprising a front support card having a window and a rear portion. The rear portion comprises a plurality of sidewalls and a plurality of tabs which can be folded to form a cavity to hold a small product. The package is then assembled by bonding part of the rear portion to the front support card through the application of heat and pressure. The package encloses the product, which is visible to consumers through the window cut on the front support card.
Tray With Compartments
A tray for holding one or more food products includes a plurality of panels including a central panel, a plurality of compartment flaps foldably connected to a respective panel of the plurality of panels, and a plurality of end flaps foldably connected to a respective panel of the plurality of panels, the plurality of compartment flaps and the plurality of end flaps are overlapped to form a plurality of compartments of the tray.
Produce Containers and Methods for Manufacturing and Packing Produce Containers
Disclosed herein are containers and methods for managing springy produce during packaging. An exemplary container includes a wall structure defining a storage space. The wall structure includes four side panels, a top panel with an opening to the storage space, and a bottom panel opposite the top panel. The horizontal cross-sectional area of the storage space progressively increases from the top panel to the bottom panel, which is facilitated by the arrangement of the side panels, one or more of which is inclined at an angle such that the top portion of the side panel is located inward with regard to the storage space in comparison to the bottom portion of the side panel. The top panel includes a flange that extends inward from the top portions of the side panels to define the perimeter of the opening. Such containers can be constructed from paper materials including recyclable paper materials.
Tray For Food Products
A tray for holding at least one food product, the tray includes a plurality of panels extending at least partially around an interior of the tray, the plurality of panels including a bottom panel, a front panel, a back panel, and at least one side panel, a plurality of end flaps foldably connected to a respective panel of the plurality of panels and cooperating to form a rim extending outwardly from the plurality of panels, and reinforcement features for supporting the rim, the reinforcement features including at least one reinforcement tab extending from a respective panel of the plurality of panels and contacting a portion of a respective end flap of the plurality of end flaps.
