The first flange parts include at least a first, a second, and a third elongate flange part section, which are connected parallel and along an elongate edge to each other. The first elongate flange part section is arranged to the respective wall part, the third elongate flange part section is connected parallel and along an elongate edge to the second elongate flange part section, the third elongate flange part section is adhered to the outside of the respective wall part, and the second flange part section is double folded against the first flange part section.

Described herein is a food holder including a multiple-panel, tapered sleeve that may include a forward panel, a rear panel, two front-side panels and two back-side panels that for an irregular shape. The multiple-panel sleeve includes a multiple-panel bottom member connected to the bottom edges of the forward and rear panels. The bottom member includes a foldline that allows the bottom member to project upwards into a space defined by the panels when the space between the forward and rear panels is reduced. The food holder includes a tear-away portion defined by a line of perforations which may be removed by a consumer to allow access to lower portions of the food product. The irregular, tapered shape and proportionality of the bottom member promote the structural integrity of the food holder.

A method and apparatus for producing trays that are or are not coated with a plastic film and that retain modified atmospheres and the trays obtained. The apparatus allows for obtaining trays with different structures, which include the forming of the trays from previously elaborated preforms, which may or may not have a separator inside the trays and optionally coated with a plastic film inside. It also consists of the method for obtaining the trays and the trays obtained. The trays coated with a plastic film have the capacity to contain atmospheres with a composition of gases different from that of the air inside them, to extend the time of storage and conservation of food products. This is achieved by means of a closed top seal of the tray. The trays also have a simple closure or capping, without modifying their atmosphere.

A box cutout transitioned to a collapsed box configuration in this manner may include a bottom panel having plurality of unbroken minor score lines and broken major score lines.

The one or more of the side panels may include one or more tabs extending from an upper edge thereof. The carton may further include foldable corner gussets extending between adjacent side panels. The bottom panel, side panels, and foldable corner gussets may be configurable to form a compartment region; and a removable lid. The removable lid may include a lid panel and one or more slots formed in the lid panel, wherein the lid panel may be configured to cover the compartment region, and wherein the one or more slots may be sized, shaped, and positioned such that when the removable lid is installed atop the compartment region, the one or more tabs align with the one or more slots and are received therethrough.
