Carton and Method of Creating the Carton

A carton (5) is formed by folding and interconnecting a plurality of body pieces (15, 19, 21) to establish at least front and rear panels (25,35) and opposing side panels (59,77) which can be joined to establish the carton with an interior cavity (90) for containing edible products. At least two of the front, rear and opposing side panels are interconnected by one or more bridge tabs (56-58; 100; 110, 115; 120, 121; 130, 131; 150-152; 160-162) so as to constitute a unitary, single one of the separate body pieces, thereby preventing the interconnected panels from skewing during assembly of the carton.
