A container comprises a wall and a floor. The wall has an upper rim defining an opening for receiving a foodstuff. The floor and the wall together define a chamber for containing the foodstuff. An inward fold is formed in the floor such that a portion of the floor projects into the chamber and such that a full-length crevice is defined by the floor. At least a portion of the opposing sides of the inward fold have cooperating non-planar contours, such as cooperating zigzag or serpentine contours.

A pallet container having eight side walls, a bottom piece, two leg flaps that are used to automatically deploy the container from a flat, collapsed position, and a series of inside folds and outside folds. The pallet container is constructed from one or more blanks made of cardboard. The blanks used to make the pallet container may have different configurations. The pallet container has an open and a closed position and can be converted from one position to the other by a single person without the need of special tools or equipment. A cardboard blank for making the pallet container is also disclosed.

The invention relates to a package or product comprising at least one space for contents or objects, formed of at least one flexible part, which is a flexible pouch type container part, and to the at least one flexible part attached at least one stiff support part, in which the at least one stiff support part forms in opened position at least part of wall structure of the package or product. The at least one flexible part and the at least one stiff support part form the at least one space for the objects or contents, when the stiff material of the support part is bent and/or the package is opened at the stiff support part. A foldable liquid retaining bowl made from a single sheet of bamboo pulp and a pair of standard fastening devices. The sheet of material is capable of being folded into a bowl form with a base and four side walls without needing to be cut or otherwise modified. The side walls are held together on each end by the fastening device such as a glued joint. The sheet of material is treated on at least one side with a water resistant coating. The folded bowl form is capable of being folded flat for storage and or transport. A preferred embodiment includes the sheet of material being made of Kraft paper coated with Polylactide acid (PLA).

A blank which can be folded to form a pack for food items and the like. The blank being formed of a laminate of a card layer on a film layer. The blank has a front face (9) and rear face (13) connected to opposite sides of a base (10) via fold lines (12, 14). The base has a central third transverse fold line (11) about which the base can be folded in an opposite sense. Side panels (15, 17) extend transversely from both sides of the blank. A film layer extends beyond the card layer so as to form unsupported film regions with a first region extending transversely from the base (10) and a second region continuous with the first region to at least partially overlie a corresponding side panel (15, 17) when the blank is folded. The second regions of unsupported film bond with the film on the corresponding side panel to seal the side panels in the erected pack.

Cuboid pouches or packaging, specifically pouches or packaging having a cuboid shape such as pouches or packaging having, roughly, six sides and roughly in the shape of a cube, a rectangular prism, or other similar shape, are provided. The cuboid pouches or packaging preferably include an extended lip or seal, providing an opening and/or a hanging element. Preferably, the cuboid packaging may be made from plastic film, although other materials may also be used, such as coated paper, paperboard, flexible cardstock, or combinations of the same. Methods for making and using the same are further provided.
