A machine for forming a container from a blank includes a mandrel mounted to a frame. The machine also includes a first presser arm, a folding arm, and a second presser arm each coupled to the frame. The first presser arm is positionable generally proximate the first side of the mandrel and is configured to wrap a first portion of the blank about the mandrel. The folding arm is positionable at least generally proximate the second side of the mandrel and is configured to wrap a second portion of the blank about the mandrel. The second presser arm is disposed generally proximate the first presser arm and is configured to wrap a third portion of the blank about the mandrel.

PACKING BOX CONVERTABLE FROM A SHIPPING CONFIGURATION TO A DISPLAY CONFIGURATION

A packing box includes a separation line in a shipping configuration, the separation line allowing separating a separation part from the packing box to leave a display part in a display configuration. First to last panels are sequentially interconnected, and flaps are connected to the panels. The flaps cooperatively define further sides of the packing box in the shipping configuration, and adjacent flaps connected to adjacent mutually connected panels are attached to one another. The separation line extends through a single panel from a first end associated with a position between adjacent first separation and display flaps to a second end associated with a position between adjacent second separation and display flaps, the separation flaps being associated with the separation part and the display flaps being associated with the display part. The separation flaps, and the adjacent display flaps are attached to one another, respectively, in a releasable manner.

A shipping container convertible to a display case and formed from a one-piece blank of sheet material. The container comprises an upper front panel, first, second, and third main panels, and a lower front panel connected in series at respective fold lines. Upper front side flaps foldably joined to the upper front panel comprise a respective one of a first removable section and a second removable section each defined between respective pairs of separation lines. The first removable section extends across only a portion of a first end of the container, and the second removable section extends across only a portion of the second end. A lid portion of the shipping container is completely detachable from a base portion of the shipping container by removing the first and second removable sections and separating the lid and base portions along a separation line.

The dispenser pattern (40) includes first and second tear lines (51, 52) on first and second side exiting end flaps (32, 36) that extend downwardly toward one another from opposite sides of the exiting end panel. The first and second end dispenser patterns do not extend completely across respective first and second side exiting end flaps but stop short of an outer edge of respective first and second side exiting end flaps.
