System for transporting hot food
A system for addition to a box for transporting hot food includes a sheet of paper having a length and width greater than the length and width of an interior of the box, the sheet including four folds defining a diamond shape, each fold configured to be folded towards a center of the sheet, such that when food is placed on the sheet, the sheet is folded according to the four folds defined in the sheet, and the sheet is placed within the interior of the box, the sheet completely covers the food and the sheet fits securely within the interior of the box, two food-safe coatings on the sheet, orifices in the sheet for allowing moisture to escape therethrough, and, wherein the sheet is configured for being removably positioned within the interior of the box, such that the food rests on the sheet.
Child-proof container
A child-proof container including storage to be closed by a closure system. The container includes a first coupling portion carried by the closure system and a second coupling portion carried by the storage and configured to cooperate with said first coupling portion for locking the container in a closed condition. At least one of the sheet materials of the storage and the closure system includes a bonded and/or adhesively bonded overlap zone at which a plurality of notches are defined to define breaking portions of the overlap zone.
Low volume, highly adjustable packaging and storage solutions
The present disclosure provides low volume, highly adjustable packaging that reduces surface area by 25% and overall material by 60% compared with standard boxes. In some embodiments, the presence of a telescoping sleeve, that is slightly wider than and slides over a mating sleeve, allows the length of the packaging to be adjusted. These volume and length reductions save approximately two-thirds of shipping costs. Further, in some embodiments, strategically placed scoring allows the packaging to flex and contour to the shape of a three-dimensional object to be placed in the packaging. In addition, reinforced corners protect contents of the package, and, in some embodiments, portions of the packaging are designed to be repurposed as artwork.
Protective packaging for items
Protective packaging is described that includes a base having an outer and an inner base wall. A plurality of sidewalls extends from the outer base wall to define an internal volume and an opening. The internal volume is opposite the outer base wall. The inner base wall is disposed within the internal volume spaced apart from the outer base wall. A cover includes an outer cover wall and an inner cover wall. The cover is rotatably attached to at least one sidewall. The cover is rotatable between a closed position in which the cover closes the opening and an open position in which the cover does not close the opening. In the closed position, the inner cover wall is within the internal volume and spaced apart from the outer cover wall and the inner base wall. The inner base wall and the inner cover wall receive or house an item.
