Sheet packaging matertial for producing a sealed package containing a pourable product and a package obtained therefrom
A sheet packaging material for producing a sealed package comprises two first boundary edges parallel to a longitudinal direction and two second boundary edges parallel to a transversal direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction. The sheet packaging material includes at least a bottom transversal crease line including a bottom central portion, a bottom end portion and a bottom side portion. The sheet packaging material includes a pair of slanted crease lines inclined relative to both the longitudinal and transverse directions. The slanted crease lines have first ends pointing to one of the second boundary edges and second ends pointing to a continuous line parallel to the transversal direction and including the bottom central portion and the bottom end portion. The slanted crease lines delimit, with the bottom side portion, a flap area of the sheet packaging material designed to form at least part of a lateral flap of the package.
CONTAINER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
Various embodiments are directed to repulpable and recyclable container comprising an outer liner, an inner liner, a sidewall medium arranged between the outer liner and the inner liner, the sidewall medium being defined at least in part by a sidewall flute, and one or more coating layers adhered to one or more of a first outer liner surface, a second outer liner surface, a first inner liner surface, and a second inner liner surface; wherein the container is configured such that the flute is adhered to the outer liner and the inner liner via at least one volume of adhesive configured to directly engage at least a portion of the one or more coating layers. Various embodiments are directed to a container manufacturing system configured to produce a repulpable and recyclable container. Various embodiments are directed to a method of manufacturing a repulpable and recyclable container.
CONTAINER PRECURSOR, IN PARTICULAR FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF A FOOD CONTAINER, FROM A LAMINATE WITH A PEELED EDGE REGION, WHICH IS PARTIALLY FOLDED BACK ON ITSELF
The invention relates to a container precursor comprising a wall, wherein the wall a) surrounds an interior region, and b) comprises a first wall region and a second wall region; wherein the first wall region comprises a first layer sequence comprising a first wall layer, a second wall layer and a third wall layer as overlying layers from the interior region outwards; wherein, in the first wall region, a second carrier layer is characterised by a smaller layer thickness than a first carrier layer, or a third carrier layer, or both; wherein the second wall region comprises a second layer sequence comprising first wall layer, a second wall layer and a third wall layer as overlying layers from the interior region outwards; wherein, in the second wall region, the second wall layer is connected to the third wall layer; wherein, in the second wall region, the third carrier layer is characterised by a larger layer thickness than the first carrier layer, or the third carrier layer, or both. Further, the invention relates to a process for manufacturing a container precursor, a container precursor obtainable through this process, a closed container, a process for manufacturing a closed container, a closed container obtainable through this process, a use of the aforementioned container precursor, and a further use of the aforementioned container precursor.
A Package
A package is provided, comprising a packaging material having a bulk layer and being formed into a three-dimensional container by folding the packaging material along predefined crease lines thus forming a fracture along the crease lines. The package comprises a plurality of corners, wherein at least one of the corners is arranged at an area of the packaging material in which two or more crease lines intersect.
METHOD FOR A LAMINATED PACKAGING MATERIAL
A method for providing a film laminate comprising a substrate and a polymer film, and suitable for forming a part of a laminated packaging material is provided. The method comprises forwarding a web of the substrate to pass through a lamination nip. The method further comprises casting the polymer film by applying a molten polymer material onto a cooling roller to at least partially solidify the molten polymer material to form the polymer film. Furthermore, the method comprises directly forwarding the polymer film to pass through the lamination nip, thereby laminating the polymer film onto the web of the substrate.
Paperboard article for making a container and container comprising the paperboard article
A paperboard article (1) for making a container (8) comprises an annular frame (2), which surrounds an internal zone (20), and a plurality of wings (3) connected to the annular frame (2). Each wing (3) comprises a first portion (31) and a second portion (32), wherein the second portion (32) is connected to the annular frame (2) and is interposed between the annular frame (2) and the first portion (31). The paperboard article (1) is configured to adopt a flat configuration and an expanded configuration.
