The lock comprises a specific actuator moveable by pressure, the actuator being connected to the specific portion, the flanks comprising an actuation area facing the actuator and permitting displacing it by applying the pressure. A top panel of the box comprises an opening and a top panel section joining at least a part of the specific sidewall to at least a part of an opposite sidewall, the opposite sidewall being opposite to the specific sidewall. The specific actuation area defines a specific centroid separated from the top of the lid by less than 5 cm and by more than 0.5 cm, and from a distal end of the specific flank by more than 0.5 cm.
THERMAL PROTECTION PACKAGING
A blank for forming an insulated carton including a front panel hingedly attached to a first side panel, the first side panel hingedly attached to a rear panel, the rear panel hingedly attached to a second side panel along a longitudinal axis of a blank, wherein each panel includes a central portion disposed between and hingedly attached to at least one flap arranged transverse to the longitudinal axis an end tab hingedly attached to the central portion of the second side panel, wherein the blank defines an interior space of a carton when folded along each hinged attachment and at least one surface of the blank includes a reflective barrier which has a higher thermal radiation reflectance than an under-lying layer for energy-insulating the interior space of the carton.
COLD CHAIN BARRIER WALL PACKAGING SYSTEM
A cold chain packaging system is disclosed that includes a first enclosure for receiving a payload, a second enclosure for receiving the first enclosure, wherein the first enclosure is adapted and configured to create a moat between an exterior surface of the first enclosure and an interior surface of the second enclosure for receiving a phase change material, a third enclosure for receiving the second enclosure, a plurality of spacer blocks for encapsulating the second enclosure within the third enclosure to create a void barrier between an exterior surface of the second enclosure and an interior surface of the third enclosure, and a fourth enclosure for receiving a phase change material, wherein the fourth enclosure is dimensioned and configured to be received within the second enclosure positioned above the first enclosure.
Tray For Food Products
A tray for holding at least one food product includes a plurality of panels extending at least partially around an interior of the tray, the plurality of panels comprising a bottom panel, a front panel, a back panel, and at least one side panel, a plurality of end flaps foldably connected to a respective panel of the plurality of panels and cooperating to form a rim extending outwardly from the plurality of panels, and denesting features comprising at least one denesting tab extending into the interior of the tray.
A CARDBOARD BOX FOR HOLDING CONTENT, AND A METHOD FOR USING SUCH
The disclosure relates to a cardboard box for holding content comprising liquid and/or gas. The box comprising: 3 or more side walls and a bottom side, a layer of liquid and/or gas non-permeable coating, every side wall having on its upper end a brim/ collar area, the brim/collar area being folded to form an unbroken encircling receiving surface for attaching a lid foil.
Container Content Alignment Apparatus and System
A container content apparatus comprises two inserts. Each insert comprises a top portion, a bottom portion, and two side flaps. Each top portion comprises a die cut handle. The apparatus is adapted to be inserted into an inside of a container adjacent to interior walls of the container. An area defined by the inserts is adapted to receive a stack of media. When the inserts are removed via the handles, a gap or space exists between the outer edges of the stack and the interior walls of the container providing automatic alignment of the stack centered on the inside of the container and providing proper alignment to feed the stack directly from the container to an infeed of a printer.
Container and container blanks with integral retractable pouring spout
A container, formed from a container blank, for containing therein a dispensable material of variety of form, has a plurality of panels. A first panel has severance lines that upon application of pressure disengage to create an integral spout for dispensing of the material. Opening and closing of the container is each via easy application of minimal force causing the spout to open or close as needed. The initial opening of the spout severs the severance lines that form the spout. Thereafter the spout may be open or closed upon proper application of pressure around folding lines of the container.
A SHEET PACKAGING MATERIAL FOR PRODUCING A SEALED PACKAGE CONTAINING A POURABLE PRODUCT AND A PACKAGE OBTAINED THEREFROM
A sheet packaging material for producing a sealed package comprises two first boundary edges parallel to a longitudinal direction and two second boundary edges parallel to a transversal direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction. The sheet packaging material includes at least a bottom transversal crease line including a bottom central portion, a bottom end portion and a bottom side portion. The sheet packaging material includes a pair of slanted crease lines inclined relative to both the longitudinal and transverse directions. The slanted crease lines have first ends pointing to one of the second boundary edges and second ends pointing to a continuous line parallel to the transversal direction and including the bottom central portion and the bottom end portion. The slanted crease lines delimit, with the bottom side portion, a flap area of the sheet packaging material designed to form at least part of a lateral flap of the package.
ENHANCED PVOH-BASED BARRIER LAYER COMPOSITION, BARRIER LAYER AND METHODS FOR ITS MANUFACTURE
There is provided a packaging material comprising a fibre based substrate and a gas barrier layer based on a polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH), wherein said gas barrier layer comprises an interpolymer complex forming agent (IPCFA), which IPCFA is a water-soluble polymer exhibiting functional groups capable of forming hydrogen bonds with —OH groups of the PVOH. Said PVOH has a weight average molecular weight (M.sub.w) measured according to ASTM D4001-13 in the range of about 80 kg/mol to 135 kg/mol, the proportion of said IPCFA to PVOH in said gas barrier layer is in the range of 0.5 to 7.0% (w/w) and said packaging material has an oxygen permeability (OP) below 14 ml μm/m.sup.2 day atm, which OP is obtained by multiplying the oxygen transmission rate (OTR) of the packaging material measured according to ASTM F1927-7 at a relative humidity (RH) of 80% and 23° C. by the thickness of the gas barrier layer.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PACKAGING HAVING A CIRCUMFERENTIAL EDGE FLANGE AND A BARRIER FILM
A method for producing packaging comprises providing the shell part that defines an opening, a cavity at least partially formed by a bottom wall and side walls, and a continuously circumferential lower contact surface at a constant height around the opening of the cavity and providing a collar including the circumferential edge flange. At least one bottom tool is structured to comprise aa lower contact surface and a cavity configured to receive the shell part. At least one top tool is structured to comprise an upper contact surface. The shell part is inserted into the cavity of the at least one bottom tool and the collar is placed on the lower contact surface. A barrier film is placed over the edge flange and pressed to form a tray that is filled with goods. A sealing film is then pressed against the barrier film to seal the goods within the tray.
