TEMPERATURE INSULATED PACKAGING SYSTEMS AND RELATED METHODS
A temperature insulated packaging system includes a container having interior surface bounding an interior volume and a liner disposed within the interior volume and at least partially bounding a compartment configured to receive an item for temperature insulated shipping. The liner includes a first sleeve made of cellulose material and at least partially bounds a channel. The first sleeve has an outside wall disposed adjacent to the container and an opposing inside wall disposed adjacent to the compartment configured to receive the item for shipping, the channel being disposed between the inside wall and the outside wall. At least one insulation sheet is disposed within the channel of the first sleeve, the at least one insulation sheet being made of a cellulose material and having a plurality of recesses formed thereon.
Replacement panel assembly for sealing carton assembly and methods of assembly and use
An attachable panel assembly includes a replacement panel having a mounting panel and a closure panel projecting from the mounting panel. The closure panel has an attachment portion and a removable zipper tear strip disposed between the attachment portion and the mounting panel. The panel assembly also includes a first adhesive layer disposed on the mounting panel and a second adhesive layer disposed on the attachment portion of the replacement closure panel, the first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer being disposed on opposing sides of the replacement panel. A resealable carton system includes the panel assembly attached or attachable to a carton body of a carton assembly by means of the first adhesive layer. The carton assembly can be sealed by closing an inner closure panel of the carton assembly and folding the replacement closure panel so that the second adhesive binds to the inner closure panel.
SUPPORTING FRAME AND PACKING BOX
A supporting frame disposed in a packing box used for packing an object is provided. The supporting frame includes a substrate and a cushion assembly. The substrate includes a bottom plate, where the bottom plate has a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other. The cushion assembly includes a first portion and a second portion, the first portion is fixed at four corners of the first surface of the bottom plate, and the second portion is fixed at four corners of the second surface of the bottom plate, where at least an inner contour of the first portion of the cushion assembly partially corresponds to an outer contour of the object. A packing box is further provided. The supporting frame and the packing box provide good support and cushioning effect.
Method and blanks for forming a shelf-ready display container
A container formed from a blank and a method for constructing the container are described. The container includes a shell and a liner disposed substantially within the shell. The shell includes a bottom wall, two opposing end walls including a first and well and a second end wall, and two opposing side walls including a first side wall and a second side wall. The shell further includes a plurality of top panels extending from a top edge of each of the first end wall, the second end wall, the first side wall, and the second side wall.
A Thermally Insulative Liner for Use in Packaging
A thermally insulative liner for packaging includes a base, sidewalls extending from the base and defining an opening, and a cover for covering the opening. The cover includes first, second, and third segments. A first side of the first segment is hingedly attached to a sidewall such that the first segment is rotatable, from being aligned with that sidewall, in a first direction. A first side of the second segment is hingedly attached to a second side of the first segment such that the second segment is rotatable, from being aligned with the first segment, in the first direction. The third segment is hingedly attached to a second side of the second segment such that the third segment is rotatable, from being aligned with the second segment, in a second direction opposite to the first direction.
System for transporting hot food
A system for addition to a box for transporting hot food includes a sheet of paper having a fold at a midpoint defining a top sheet and a bottom sheet, the top sheet having a length and a width equal to an interior of the box, such that the top sheet fits within the box without being folded, the bottom sheet having a length and a width longer than the interior of the box, such that when the bottom sheet is placed within the interior of the box, edges of the bottom sheet are configured to extend upwards along sides of the interior of the box, a second fold defining a strip of paper above the top sheet, a food-safe laminate coating on an interior surface of the top and bottom sheets, wherein said coating has heat reflecting characteristics and oil-resistant characteristics, and orifices in the top sheet for allowing moisture to escape therethrough.
BOX-IN-BOX CONTAINER
A box blank useful for forming a container includes a first layer comprising paperboard, a second layer comprising a paper layer and a foil layer, and an adhesive layer adhering the first layer to the second layer, wherein the foil layer is between the paperboard and the paper layer.
Water-degradable carrier for caustic substances and related manufacturing method
A water-degradable carrier for holding a caustic substance includes a tube having a first end, a second end, and a hollow interior disposed between the first and second ends. The tube may be formed from a water-degradable material and have overlapping self-adhered windings. The water-degradable material may include a water-degradable paper layer and a chemical-resistant water-degradable film layer that acts as an adhesive when wetted to adhere together the windings. The chemical-resistant water-degradable film layer is selected from a material that is resistant to a caustic substance that is to be carried by the carrier and acts as a barrier to substantially prevent the caustic substance from degrading the water-degradable paper layer and leaking out of the tube.
A Thermally Insulative Liner for Use in Packaging
A thermally insulative liner for a box is described. The liner includes a base and a plurality of sidewalls. Each sidewall extends from the base thereby to define an opening opposite the base. Each of the plurality of sidewalls includes an inner surface, an outer surface, and a plurality of channels formed between the inner surface and the outer surface and extending parallel with the inner surface and the outer surface. A first sidewall of the plurality of sidewalls contacts two other sidewalls of the plurality of sidewalls. One or more of the plurality of channels in the first sidewall is closed at opposing ends by the respective inner surfaces of the two other sidewalls.
