A fastener for an image display assembly comprising a polygonal planar body having a ventral surface with at least one fastening member extending from the ventral surface. The fastening member comprises a fastening member body and at least one cantilever tab extending from the fastening member body. Each cantilever tab comprises a fastener retainer facing the ventral surface. A packaging system includes an inner box and an outer box. The inner box is adapted to receive items to be transported and has a base, a side wall and a lid. The outer box is adapted to house the inner box and has a base, a side wall and a lid. The base and the lid of the outer box are adapted to form a flat pack that houses a folded-down form of the inner box and of the side wall of the outer box for transport within the flat pack. The folded-down form of the inner box can be removed from the flat pack and assembled to form the inner box. The folded down form of the side wall of the outer box can be removed from the flat pack and assembled together with the base and the lid of the outer box to form the outer box.

A material storage and transport system is disclosed. The material storage and transport system can include a material storage tray forming a storage volume defined by a bottom and walls extending up from the bottom along a perimeter of the bottom. The material storage and transport system can also include a releasable strap adapted to extend across the bottom when in a securing configuration and a sample carrier, including at least one sample secured to a sample support substrate by a molded sheet. The material storage and transport system can include a hinged lid that is integrally connected to a wall of the material storage tray, and configured to convert between a folded-in position, an opened position, and a closed position.

A packaging system includes an inner box and an outer box. The inner box is adapted to receive items to be transported and has a base, a side wall and a lid. The outer box is adapted to house the inner box and has a base, a side wall and a lid. The base and the lid of the outer box are adapted to form a flat pack that houses a folded-down form of the inner box and of the side wall of the outer box for transport within the flat pack. The folded-down form of the inner box can be removed from the flat pack and assembled to form the inner box. The folded down form of the side wall of the outer box can be removed from the flat pack and assembled together with the base and the lid of the outer box to form the outer box.

Packaging is provided including an upper lid having a handle disposed within a channel of a surface of the upper lid and vertically movable within the channel. A lower base box is coupled to the handle via a strap, such that a lifting force imparted to the handle lifts the lower base box when the strap becomes taut. The vertical movement of the handle within the channel overcomes any slack in the strap such that the handle does not contact an upper vertical surface in the upper lid, but a gapless interface between the upper lid and lower base box is maintained during lifting of the packaging. The strap is detachable from the handle and from the base box, such that it may be removed in order to open packaging by lifting the lid off of the base box.

A tamper-evident structure for securing a lid to a container of a carton for holding a food product includes a plurality of panels having a top panel and at least one side panel, and at least one panel of the plurality of panels is for being attached to at least one of the lid and the container of the carton. At least one indicating feature provides indication that the lid has been at least partially removed from the container.

Packaging with a locking mechanism is provided, such as for finished goods packaging, such that a lid and base box may be secured together in a closed configuration. An interlocking ripcord mechanical lock may include a slot and tab style ripcord that is integrated into the packaging. As an example, packaging using corrugated material may utilize the corrugated material thickness to lock the tab record inside an opening such as a slot, such that the base box is retained and coupled to the lid, thereby preventing the base box from sliding out from the lid if a user except packaging by the lid. Once the ripcord is removed, is removed, the mechanical lock is thereby released from the base and lid, allowing the customer to open the packaging.
