ASEPTIC PROTECTIVE SYSTEM AGAINST GERMS AND DIRT FOR BEVERAGE BOTTLES AND CANS AND SYSTEM FOR JOINING BEVERAGE CANS
The aseptic protective system against germs and dirt for beverage bottles and cans and system for joining beverage cans, consists of applying a protective cover to the end or mouth of the bottles or cans of drinks, whose protective elements are sheets or films, sleeves, caps, lids, stoppers or belts made of biodegradable plastic materials, which protect them from contamination by germs and dirt. attaching or tongue-and-groove joints to groups or rows of cans, the attachments use covers, sheets of tape, bands or a cover of biodegradable material. The groups or rows of cans are constructed in a way that the bottoms of the cans are placed at their ends towards the outside and therefore those carrying the nozzles and opener are protected internally from dirt and contamination. The union is done by tongue and groove, attached or glued, and adding covers or sleeves, tapes or bands of metal sheets.
TAB, CAN LID, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING CAN LID
A tab formed of a metal plate in which a resin film is laminated on at least one main surface of a base member made of a metal material, includes: a fixing portion including a rivet hole into which a rivet formed on a panel portion of a can lid is inserted; a pressing portion formed integrally with the fixing portion and configured to press a portion in a region defined by a score line formed on the panel portion; and a finger hook portion formed integrally with the pressing portion.
Container opening device, a closure arrangement for a container, and a container
The invention relates generally to containers, particularly to cans (14), for example, for beverages, to a container opening device (9), a container (14), a closure arrangement (12) for a container (14), and a blank for a container opening device (9). The container (14) is typically sealable and has closure (16) attachable thereto to seal the container (14), wherein the closure (16) has a peripherally weakened zone (20), or a partly peripherally weakened zone (20). The container opening device (9) comprises an actuator tab (22) operatively attachable to the closure (16) adjacent the zone (20) such that actuation of the actuator tab (22) between first and second positions causes shearing or detachment of the zone (20) from its weakened periphery thereby to provide an opening to an interior of the container (14), in use; and a pull member (10) attached or attachable to the actuator tab (22) to facilitate actuation of the tab (22) between the first and second positions. It will be understood that the container (14) and closure arrangement (12) comprise the device.
CHILD RESISTANT CLOSURE FOR BEVERAGE CONTAINERS
The present invention provides a closure for a container having a generally planar top adapted to enclose the opening of a container, a sealable opening, a closure adapted to seal the opening and hingedly movable between a first sealed position and a second opened position, a generally planar tab having a first end pivotably connected to the planar top and axially rotatable between a first position where the planar tab is aligned to generally occlude the sealable opening and a generally opposed second position, such that the planar tab is secured in the first position and the planar tab can be axially rotatable between the first position and the second position upon application of an axial rotational force to the second end of the planar tab.
Method for producing a printed can lid
A method for manufacturing a printed can lid (1) of a can with a digital printing method; comprising at least the following steps: a) making available a shell (2) with an outer face (3) and an inner face (4); b) making available a control unit (9) and a printed image (8), wherein the printed image (8) can be processed in the control unit (9); c) making available at least a first digital printing unit (10) with at least one printing head (11); wherein the printed image (8) which is made available by the control unit (9) can be printed onto the outer face (3) with the printing head (11); and d) printing the printed image (8) which is made available by the control unit (9) onto the outer face (3) with the printing head (11).
Metallic can and associated can lid
A can lid that comprises an opening region provided in the material of the lid surface and comprises a two-armed lever member that is intended to open this opening region and that is connected to the lid material, wherein this arrangement is characterized in that the opening region configured as a tongue tab is delineated from the lid surface by a tear line and the tongue tab base connected to the lid surface forms a pivot bearing that becomes effective during the opening procedure; in that the lower side of the lid is coated with a plastic material in a firmly adhering manner, and this coating of the tear line that covers the tear line is weakened in an adjacent manner; and in that the container part and the can lid at least substantially comprise the same aluminum alloy.
Plastic can and method for manufacturing same
The present invention relates to a can made essentially of plastic and containing a sterile beverage. The can includes a receptacle having a cylindrical body and an upper portion provided with an opening. The opening in the receptacle is hermetically sealed with a closure made of a metal and plastics composite. A cap comprising a cylindrical side wall and a piercing device is attached to the receptacle. Preferably, the cap comprises a re-closable lid. The receptacle-and-cap assembly have the appearance of a can.
Child resistant senior friendly can topper mechanism
There is shown in embodiments of a closure mechanism configured to fit over the top of the can and prevent access. The closure mechanism is a child resistant senior friendly mechanism that can be opened and removed by the senior when access to the can is desired. The closure mechanism is designed for a single use as once removed it will no longer prevent access of the top of the can.
Concave can end
A container can end includes a concave dome shape and may forgo a peripheral reinforcing bead around the center panel. The tab may also be curved. Tooling for forming the end and a corresponding method are provided.
Closure latching system
An easy-opening end closure that may also be reclosed, suitable for joining to a container. A cover panel is bonded around its perimeter to an end panel with a rotatable lever interposed between them. To open the closure, a user applies force to the rotating lever to move it axially around an attachment point and progressively debond the seal perimeter. In this process, latching mechanisms ensure uni-directional movement of the lever relative to the shutter and joining of the two components at the end of the rotational sweep.
