A lid is disclosed herein. The lid comprises a base comprising a peripheral edge and a skirt extending downward from the peripheral edge. The skirt comprises a pair of release tabs diametrically opposite from one another. Each of the pair of release tabs are defined by a first cut and a second cut within the skirt which separates the release tab from the remainder of the skirt. Each of the release tabs is hingedly connected to the base. Each of the pair of the release tabs extend upwardly from the base, opposite the skirt. Each release tab further comprises a latching protrusion extending radially inward from an inner surface of the release tab towards a central axis of the lid.

The invention disclosed comprises multifunctional, mobile, stackable storage container that features an internal lockable storage area and an external surface area. The device is capable of mounting safely and securely to a beach umbrella, chair, or outdoor fixture; it is further able to securely connect to variety of wheeled vehicles including bikes or wheelchairs. The invention is directed to a meal tier system. The system provides a plurality of cylindrical meal containers which stack neatly in tiers, and are removably affixed to a side-mounted spindle. Each container provides a watertight lid and may be individually swiveled around the axis of the spindle. The containers are dishwasher safe and may be insulated. Optionally, a large, sturdy bag with a carrying handle may be provided, such that the entire system, with all containers filled with food, may be fully assembled and securely carried in the bag with one hand.

The present invention is directed to a child resistant double seam container lid including an adapter ring for securely affixing to the double seam top rim of conventional double seamed containers that will be difficult for children to open, yet readily openable by adults.
