A sublimation transfer sheet including a backing layer positionable between overlapping end portions of the sublimation transfer sheet, method of using the same, and object decorated with method of using the same. Preferably, the backing layer is an absorbent layer. Also preferably, the backing layer is secured to a side of a release layer facing away from a side of the release layer having dyes or inks thereon.

Microstructured packaging surfaces for enhanced grip

A label with improved physical properties comprising: a base layer having a microstructured area; a composite microstructure having a first, second and third set of microstructures disposed on the microstructured area; a dry lift force attributable to the composite microstructure greater than 7 pounds according to lift testing; a wet lift force attributable to the composite microstructure greater than 7 pounds according to lift testing; an adhesive layer affixed to the base layer for affixing the label to a container; and, thereby providing a microstructured label having improved gripping physical properties that can be affixed to a container.

Protective Label

A labeled article comprising a label and an article, the article having a top end, a bottom end, a bottom surface, and at least one side surface, wherein the at least one side surface extends between the top end and the bottom end of the article. In this embodiment, the label is positioned around a lower portion of the side surface of the article to confront said side surface and does not extend past the bottom end of the article.

The self-adhesive label is produced in relief in order to visually and/or tactilely simulate a decorative molding of a material of a container or a decorative seal or stamp applied to the container. The self-adhesive label comprises, successively: a layer of adhesive, a flexible plastic sheet, an undercoat varnish on the flexible plastic sheet, and an overcoat varnish on the undercoat varnish. The undercoat varnish and the overcoat varnish are configured to repel each other, so that the overcoat varnish is retracted into the shape of a drop.

RFID vial tracking with RFID inlay

A RFID label for use on a lid of a container, and a method of using the RFID label. The RFID label comprises a substrate component, a RFID antenna formed on the substrate component, and a RFID chip for storing data coupled to the RFID antenna. The RFID label is positioned or configured on the lid so as to limit or avoid any interference between the RFID antenna and the RFID chip by any metal component of the container. The RFID label is particularly useful for containers that have small lids or metal components, such as vials, where conventional RFID usage is limited.

LABELED CONTAINER HAVING MULTIPLE SEAMS

A container including an open end; a closed end opposing the open end; a container wall extending longitudinally between the closed end and the open end about a longitudinal axis; an end seam extending at least partially across the closed end; a longitudinal overlapping seam extending from the end seam, a portion of the overlapping seam extending longitudinally along the container wall from the closed end to a neck portion proximal the open end; a stretched label bonded to the container wall, wherein the stretched label includes a label substrate and ink; wherein a common one-piece distortion printed thermoplastic substrate forms both the closed end and the container wall.

Cluster pack comprising labelled containers
