The invention concerns a secure device for dispensing unit doses (Mi) of an active substance in a solid dosage form. Such a device comprises means to prevent refilling of the chamber containing the unit doses. It may further accommodate a processing unit and means of communication with the outside world. Such a device is particularly effective when it comes to combating the counterfeiting of medicines. It may further be used to detect patients' non-adherence during a clinical trial or the non-adherence of a patients suffering from chronic diseases.

A device for packaging and dispensing a chemical product is provided. The device may include a first portion connected to a second portion. Counterpoising locking features may secure the first portion and the second portion. A support member is disposed within the lower portion and adapted to support the product. The device may include a flexible enclosure contoured to and enclosing the rigid body and the product. The flexible enclosure may enclose a portion of the housing and the product, after which heat is applied to shrink the flexible enclosure. A handle may provide for ease of installation and/or removal of the device from a solid chemical dispensing system.

Described is a holding system comprising a plurality of container bodies and a plurality of caps, each of the plurality of caps being configured for closing a respective corresponding one of the plurality of container bodies; and a supporting structure for concurrently and separately supporting the plurality of container bodies and the plurality of caps in an organized arrangement, the plurality of container bodies being configured for receiving one or more ingredient for medical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or recreational applications. The holding system may be suitable for manual, semi-automated, or automated operations.

A fishhook carrying device has a resilient prismatic block, of which two adjacent faces are cut into by at least one set of spaced grooves extending along a longest dimension thereof. Two opposite parallel grooveless faces thereof abut two rigid exterior walls, which, along with a connecting bottom wall, form a unitary box structure. Rigid exterior walls of either side of the box structure maintain the prismatic block in a compressed form such that interior walls of each groove are pressed against each other in a first resting condition. When a flange is inserted into a pressed groove, the interior walls of the groove resiliently separate and thereafter abut the flange, frictionally holding the flange in place. The interior groove walls return to the first resting condition upon removal of the flange from the device.

A substrate container is provided including an inner pod configured to accommodate a large format reticle, and an outer pod configured to contain and secure the inner pod. The inner pod can be clamped together using a clip or features provided on the outer pod.
