Proximity node location using a wireless node network
Methods, media, apparatus, and systems are described for improved and enhanced node location determination related to one of a plurality of nodes in a wireless node network. A first and second other node in the network are instructed to detect any message broadcast from the one node over a period of time. The server receives a first indication from the first other node, where the first indication relates to a characteristic of all messages broadcast from the one node that are detected by the first other node during the time period. The server receives a second indication from the second other node, where the second indication relates to the characteristic of all messages broadcast from the one node that are detected by the second other node during the time period. The server then determines a location of the one node based upon a difference in the first and second indications.
Contextual based adaptive adjustment of node power level in a wireless node network
Improved methods and apparatus are described for adaptively adjusting a node power level in a wireless node network having a plurality of nodes and a server. In one method, the server is operative to fix an output power setting on a first node (such as an ID node or master node) to a first power level when the first node is located in a first area. The first power level corresponds to a density of the nodes operating within the first area. The server then detects if the first node has moved to a second area. When the first node is detected as being in the second area, the server adapts the output power setting on the first node to a second power level. The second power level corresponds and relates to a density of the nodes operating within the second area.
Apparatus for securely transporting items in a vehicle
The apparatus for securely transporting an item in a vehicle, as disclosed herein, comprises a substantially cube-shaped housing, the housing adapted to receive the item therein, in various aspects. An elongated flexible strap is secured to a housing first side and at least one lower clip is tethered to the housing bottom, in various aspects. The lower clip is adapted to releasably attach to the vehicle, such as to a lower anchor of a vehicle LATCH system, to secure the housing bottom to the vehicle. The strap is adapted to pass through an opening through a housing second side and then be attached to a vehicle headrest to secure the item within the housing and the housing to the vehicle, in various aspects. The housing having the item therein is substantially immobilized when the lower clip and the strap are attached to the vehicle. Related methods are disclosed.
Methods and Systems for Node-Enabled Shipment Merging for a Set of Items Being Shipped
Methods and systems are described for merging of a set of items being shipped using a wireless node network. In an example method, a master node receives ID node identification information from a server in the network. The ID node identification information defines the group of ID nodes. Each of the ID nodes is related to a different item from the set of items being shipped. Next, each of the ID nodes in the group is associated with the master node when the master node detects a signal from each ID node as they respectively approach the master node. When the master node detects a last one of the ID nodes in the group approaching the master node, the master node transmits a notification to the server. Thereafter, the master node receives a shipment merge indication from the server.
PRODUCT CONTAINERS AND CONTAINER ASSEMBLIES
The present disclosure provides containers and container assemblies for storing and dispensing products, such as infant formula, nutritional and fitness supplements, coffee, sugar, flour, dissolvable cannabinoid, edible cannabis, gummies, flowers, buds, candy, chocolates, baked goods and the like. The containers have a measuring and dispensing device, such as a utensil, removably secured to an internal wall of the container to prevent the utensil from becoming buried within the product. The container may be formed from first and second portions that are molded separately from each other and then joined together, allowing it to be manufactured quickly, easily, and inexpensively.
Returnable shipping container
Structures and a method for restraining a package within a returnable shipping container are provided to eliminate the need for buffering or filler materials (dunnage), particularly those materials that are environmentally unfriendly and otherwise likely to be discarded. Desirable shipping containers intended for reuse are provided with various features which enhance their utilization in a cycle of transportation out from and back to a source. These features include those associated with security, integrity, protection from the environment, addressing, automation, payment, inspection, education in volume for return, facilitation for tracking the container throughout the transport route and assurance of its eventual return.
