PACKAGE COMPRISING MEANS FOR RETAINING AN OBJECT
A package including: a case having a bottom and a peripheral rim which can adopt: a stowing position in which the peripheral rim extends substantially parallel to the bottom; a use position in which the peripheral rim extends from the bottom; a cover; and holding means for maintaining in the case an object to be transported. The holding means includes: a first part secured to the case; and a second part secured to the cover. At least one of the first part and the second part is relaxed in the stowing position of the peripheral rim, and tensioned in the use position of the peripheral rim.
Multi-entity management of a node in a wireless node network
Methods and apparatus are disclosed for multi-entity management of an ID node in a wireless node network. The ID node associates with a first entity user access device, which operates as a master node and communicates directly with a server over a first communication path. The first device separately communicates with the ID node over a second communication path, but the ID node is unable to directly communicate with the server. The ID node provides the first device with access to data collected by the ID node if an initial privilege authorizes it. After associating with a shipping entity master node, the ID node provides the shipping entity master node with the data collected based on a transferred privilege from the server. And then after associating with a second entity user access device, the ID node provides access to this second device if authorized by a destination privilege from the server.
SCOOTER TRANSPORT CONTAINER
A scooter transport container that houses and retains an electric scooter securely in a natural upright position whenever transporting. The scooter transport container includes a plurality of panels defining an interior cavity. An opening is defined in at least one of the front or the rear end of the transport container to permit insertion and removal of the scooter in the interior cavity. Wheel chocks prevent movement of the scooter in a longitudinal direction within the transport container. A left and a right lateral support pad are disposed on an interior of the transport container and protrude from left and right opposed sidewall panels to abut with a lateral side edge of a deck of the scooter for supporting the rider or a lateral frame member of the scooter. The lateral support pads are configured to retain the scooter 40 in an upright condition within the transport container.
Node-enabled shipping without a shipping label using elements of a wireless node network
Methods and systems are described for preparing a node-enabled shipment of an item to be shipped using a wireless node network having at least a node and a server. A user access device, such as a laptop computer, smartphone, or tablet, may capture an identification of the node to be related to the item. The user access device enters shipping information related to the item and linked with an identification of the node. The shipping information is stored on the node, and then the node is combined with the item to be shipped. A system may include a node and a server, where the node is specially-adapted via programming to emit the identification of the node to the user access device, receive shipping information from the device, store the shipping information on the node, and then upload the shipping information to the server.
MULTI-ENTITY MANAGEMENT OF A NODE IN A WIRELESS NODE NETWORK
Methods and systems are described for monitoring a piece of equipment using a node network having multiple nodes and a server. A second node is associated with the equipment, can monitor equipment operations, and communicate directly with a first node but is unable to directly communicate with the server. The first node can directly communicate with the server and separately communicate with the second node. The first node associates with the second node when the first node detects a signal broadcast from the second node. The second node detects an actionable event related to the operation of the equipment, and transmits a message reporting the actionable event to the first node. The first node notifies the server about the actionable event. Thereafter, the server initiates a responsive action based upon the notification.
Foldable package with simplified shaping
A package comprising a case defining a stowing volume, and a cover intended to close the stowing volume of the case, the case having a bottom and a peripheral rim which can adopt a stowed position in which it extends substantially parallel to the bottom and a use position in which it extends substantially perpendicular to the bottom. The case comprises a rigid element connected to the first panel and to the third panel by an elastic connection, the rigid element being movable between a storage position in which the rigid element is located near the bottom and a use position in which the rigid element is spaced from the bottom, the elastic connection tending to displace the rigid element from its storage position to its use position.
Material storage and transport system
A material storage and transport system is disclosed. The material storage and transport system can include a material storage tray forming a storage volume defined by a bottom and walls extending up from the bottom along a perimeter of the bottom. The material storage and transport system can also include a releasable strap adapted to extend across the bottom when in a securing configuration and a sample carrier, including at least one sample secured to a sample support substrate by a molded sheet. The material storage and transport system can include a hinged lid that is integrally connected to a wall of the material storage tray, and configured to convert between a folded-in position, an opened position, and a closed position.
Node-enabled delivery notification using elements of a wireless node network
Methods and apparatus are described for improved delivery notification using a wireless node network having an ID node related to an item being shipped, a courier master node, a mobile delivery point master node related to a mobile delivery point (e.g., a vehicle), and a server. The mobile delivery point master node detects a signal from the ID node as the ID node approaches the mobile delivery point master node, and responsively determines shipping information related to the ID node, an intended recipient of the shipped item, and the courier master node currently associated with the ID node. The mobile delivery point master node then transmits information on the mobile delivery point master node's current location at the mobile delivery point to the courier master node, and transmits a notification to the identified recipient to inform the intended recipient about the item being substantially near the mobile delivery point.
A DIVIDER AND DIVIDER PLATE
The invention relates to an object transport system comprising a divider plate having an array of apertures; and a plurality of dividers, each of said dividers comprising an elongate throat connecting a head to a divider base, wherein the divider base is arranged to be inserted into one of said apertures.
Methods and apparatus for monitoring a conveyance coupling connection using elements of a wireless node network
Methods, apparatus, and systems are described for monitoring at least one signal passing through a coupling connection from a first conveyance to a second conveyance, where the coupling connection has a network device that communicates on a wireless node network. Generally, the network device (e.g., an ID node) integrated in the coupling connection monitors the signal line passing through the coupling connection from the first conveyance to the second conveyance. The network device then detects data on the monitored signal line and records the detected data. Thereafter, the network device in the coupling connection transmits the detected data (e.g., a notification that the conveyances are disconnected, a change in power flowing between the conveyances, etc.) to another entity in the wireless network, such as a server or master node.
