Insulating container
An insulating device can include an aperture having a waterproof closure which allows access to the chamber within the insulating device. The closure can help prevent any fluid leakage into and out of the insulating device if the insulating device is overturned or in any configuration other than upright. The closure also prevents any fluid from permeating into the chamber if the insulating device is exposed to precipitation, other fluid, or submersed under water. This construction results in an insulating chamber impervious to water and other liquids when the closure is sealed.

INTEGRATED CARRYING STRAP
Generally described, aspects of the disclosed subject matter are directed to a carrying strap or a carrying loop suitable for use with a container. The carrying strap and loop include first and second attachment portions for securement to various locations on the container. In one example, a carrying strap has a stowed position, where the strap wraps around the container, to a carrying position, where the strap secures to a second location on the container such that the strap can be used to carry the container. In another example, a carrying loop has a deployed position, where the loop secures to only a first location on the container and is used to carry the container. The carrying straps and loops are suitably positioned as covering a label of the container, as a replacement for the label, or placed in any different position on the container from the label.
Handle for a Container
This invention in provides an a method to attach a handle to a generally rounded shipping container by attaching each end of a handle to opposite ends of a generally rounded shipping container to form a handle assembly made of a plurality of end cap units, each of the plurality of end cap units having an internal partition with a slit configured to retain a buckle, wherein the buckle is connected to a handle. This invention also provides an assembly made of plurality of retaining tabs each with a slit configured to retain one side of a handle and the handle connected to said plurality of retaining tabs and a plurality caps configured to retain said plurality of retaining tabs to affix a handle to said shipping container. The assembly, in an exemplary embodiment, can include a retaining tab made of a plurality of generally flat first retaining element and generally flat second retaining element.
PORTABLE, PUMPLESS LIQUID WATER WEIGHT BALLAST SYSTEM
A portable, pumpless water ballast system can be constructed of a flexible water-proof membrane molded or formed of welded panels to make a desired shape, such as cube-shaped when filled with water. Along the top side is an opening for filling the container. A water-proof closure is provided in the opening to prevent water leaking out. An air release valve can be installed near the top area of the container's top or side panels. A handle or strap can also be provided on one or more of the adjacent sides of the container. A plastic threaded drain and closure can be provided on one or more sides to allow for emptying of the container or to attach other features like a hose or other accessory.
Soft and flexible portable cooler
A container (100), such as a cooler, has a center section (108), a bottom section, and a cover or lid. The center section has a plurality of outer walls (202) and a plurality of partial columns (210). Each outer wall has an inner surface (206), an outer surface (202), a top surface, a thickness, and a plane (204, 208) defined by the outer surface. Each partial column has an inner surface (214), an outer surface (212), a top surface (218), and a thickness, and defines a corner angle (216), such as approximately 90 degrees. The partial columns alternate with the outer walls, and the outer surface of a partial column extends beyond the plane of an adjacent outer wall. The center section and the bottom section are a unitary structure formed of a flexible insulating material, such as an EVA foam.
Package with a multi-piece handle
A package has a rigid package body and a handle for carrying the package. The rigid package body has at least six faces and a reclosable opening on a face of the rigid package body. The handle is positioned over the reclosable opening and has a first strap, a second strap, and a connection portion. The first strap includes a first end and a second end. The first end of the first strap is attached to one face of the package body. The second strap includes a first end and a second end. The first end of the second strap is attached to another face of the package body that is opposite to the face that is attached to the first strap. The connection portion is located on the second end of the second strap and is detachably engaged to the second end of the first strap.

Multi-purpose container system
A multi-purpose container system includes a first container that has attached to it opposed pairs of legs. Each pair of legs may pivot from a first position to a second position rotated about 180 degrees. In the second position of the legs, the first container may be supported inverted with its opening facing downward. In that orientation, a recessed area is facing upward and has a periphery sized to receive a second container. The second container may be placed with its bottom edges received within the recessed area to support the second container. In that orientation, the second container is significantly elevated from a floor surface. Thus, tools and supplies may be stored within the second container elevated off the floor allowing a workman easy access to the interior of the second container to retrieve tools and supplies while performing work.
Container and latching system
A container is disclosed that has a base and a lid that is rotatable about a hinge from a closed configuration to an open configuration. The lid may be secured to the base with a latch assembly. A latch assembly may have a locked position and an unlocked position.
