LIQUID SUPPLY SYSTEM
20210403201 · 2021-12-30 ·

A liquid supply system includes a suction lance (6) configured to be inserted into a liquid container (14) and at least one level sensor (10, 12) fixed on the lance (6) and configured to detect a liquid level (22) inside a liquid container (14). A control device (4) is connected to the level sensor (10, 12) and configured to determine a rate of change of the liquid level (22) detected by the at least one level sensor (10, 12) and to detect a lance removal if the rate of change reaches or exceeds a predefined threshold. A method for detecting the removal of a suction lance (6) from a liquid container (14) is provided.

A FUEL CONTAINER
20220194663 · 2022-06-23 ·

A fuel container comprises: a body defining a volume for receiving fuel. The body has an inlet and optionally a vent. The inlet extends upwards as a spout and has a threaded collar which is closed by a threaded cap. A gas expansion pathway is provided between the inlet and the vent.

The spout has a guide for receiving and locating a dog-leg portion of a fuel dispenser nozzle. A restriction in the throat of the spout prevents the fuel dispenser nozzle being inserted beyond a preselected distance into the container thereby preventing backwash and spillage.

Drain spout for draining material, from first barrel to second barrel
11365017 · 2022-06-21 ·

A drain spout includes a tubular structure with threads on at least a first end for attaching to a small bunghole of a draining barrel. A process of draining material from the draining barrel includes screwing the drain spout into the small bunghole on the draining barrel. The draining barrel is aligned beside a catch barrel with the small bungholes of the barrels on the outsides and the two large bungholes side by side. The draining barrel is tilted with the drain spout towards the catch barrel and lifting the bottom of the draining barrel while inserting the second end of the drain spout into the big bunghole of the catch barrel. The draining barrel is rotated around the drain spout acting as the axis of rotation approximately 180 degrees until the lip of both barrels meet. The draining barrel is leaned back supported by the drain spout while draining.

METHOD OF FORMING A BIODEGRADABLE AND/OR COMPOSTABLE SPOUT
20220186034 · 2022-06-16 ·

A biodegradable and/or compostable device is formed of a plant-based biopolymer in a range of 50 to 80% by volume and a polylactic acid (PLA) in a range of 10 to 30% by volume.

BEVERAGE SIPPER
20220167766 · 2022-06-02 · ·

A beverage sipper for use with a beverage bottle such as a sparkling beverage bottle comprises a stem portion adapted to be releasably inserted into the neck of a beverage bottle, the stem portion comprising a stem wall having an outer surface adapted to contact the neck of the beverage bottle and an inner surface that defines a stem portion beverage passageway and a sipping portion adapted to extend out of the neck of the beverage bottle when the stem portion is inserted in the beverage bottle, the sipping portion comprising a sipping wall with an inner surface that defines a sipping portion beverage passageway that is in flow communication with the stem portion beverage passageway. The stem portion has a securing mechanism to secure the stem portion within the beverage bottle. The securing mechanism has a biasing mechanism that biases at least a portion of the stem wall outwardly, wherein the bias of the biasing mechanism may be overcome by applying an inward force to the stem wall to move at least a portion of the stem wall inwardly to allow the stem wall to be inserted into the neck of the beverage bottle. When the inward force is removed the biasing mechanism causes at least a portion of the stem wall to be forced outwardly to apply pressure against the neck of the beverage bottle when the stem portion is inserted in the beverage bottle. The securing mechanism is configured to allow the stem portion to be secured to beverage bottles have different diameter necks.

Spout assembly for a flexible bag
