Paint Pouring Device
20220332469 · 2022-10-20 ·

A device for engaging the rim of a paint can to prevent paint from spilling down the sides of the paint can while pouring paint. The paint pouring device flexibly engages a rim of a paint can. A paint pouring guide attaches either to the paint can or a cylindrical body of the paint pouring device. The cylindrical body slips over the rim of the paint can and holds the paint pouring device in place via friction. A curved body of the paint pouring guide engages either the cylindrical body or the rim of the paint can directly. A pair of wings of the paint pouring guide extend upward and outward from the cylindrical body terminating in a pour tip for directing a flow of paint out of the can.

Liquid supply system

A liquid supply system includes a suction lance (6) configured to be inserted into a liquid container (14) and at least one level sensor (10, 12) fixed on the lance (6) and configured to detect a liquid level (22) inside a liquid container (14). A control device (4) is connected to the level sensor (10, 12) and configured to determine a rate of change of the liquid level (22) detected by the at least one level sensor (10, 12) and to detect a lance removal if the rate of change reaches or exceeds a predefined threshold. A method for detecting the removal of a suction lance (6) from a liquid container (14) is provided.

Contamination free liquid-spray dispensing apparatus and method of use
11623799 · 2023-04-11 ·

The present invention is a fluid dispensing apparatus, and method of use, e.g. for mouthwash and medicine, for dispensing a sterile liquid in single doses to prevent bacterial growth from un-used portions pored back into the apparatus. The apparatus has a hollow flexible cap enclosure surrounding a one-way valve inside of a bladder and a push rubber surface for liquid release. When the cap is removed, both the container body and the cap remain sealed from exposure to contaminates. Liquid is first dispensed from the container by inverting the container until a quantity of sterile liquid collects in the cap. The container is then positioned in an upright position and the fluid filled cap is removed from the container. The cap is then inverted again and a pushbutton pressed to dispense sterile liquid from a cap spray nozzle without requiring the user's lips to touch the cap.

A pour spout has a spout section with an elongate tubular body defining a liquid flow channel. The body has a fluted or corrugated configuration rendering the body flexible or bendable. A dispensing orifice is disposed at a dispensing end of the pour spout and an attachment end is disposed at an end of the body opposite the dispensing end. The attachment end has a liquid inlet orifice. A vent section of the pour spot is joined to the attachment end of the body. The vent section includes an air vent that defines an air flow path, which directs air from outside of the pour spout along the air flow path toward a container interior while bypassing the liquid flow channel.

Drink container piercing device
11642808 · 2023-05-09 ·

A drink container piercing device for preparing a drink container with a cap to accept a drinking straw, the device having a device body adapted to be held in a user's hand, and a piercing assembly with a central projection and an arcuate blade. The piercing assembly is adapted to pierce the cap and create circular aperture via rotational cutting by the arcuate blade centered around the central projection. The arcuate blade produces a circular cut portion from the cap, which is removed to reveal a circular aperture for accepting the drinking straw. The cut portion is retained by the central projection, preventing the cut portion from falling into the container. The piercing assembly is retractable to prevent accidental contact with the arcuate blade, and the device body has finger projections to allow the user to stabilize the device when in use.
