The disclosed invention relates generally to various embodiments of holders and packaging for giving gifts. In particular, the invention relates to various gift card holders that hold a gift card and enhance the presentation and gift giving experience for recipients and gift givers alike. The holders and packing also permit a gift card disposed therein to be visible, scanned, accessed, or otherwise activated without removing the gift card from the holder.

A life vest stowage device (1) comprises a receptacle (2) for stowing a life vest (3). The receptacle (2) has an opening (4) through which the life vest (3) is inserted into and removed from the receptacle (2). A closure is provided, by which the opening (4) can be opened and closed. This ensures that the tongue (5) is secured in the pocket (6) by a hook and loop fastener and allows a security seal (17) to be applied to the closure.

The device also includes a second panel foldably coupled to an upper edge of the first panel and a third panel foldably coupled to a lower edge of the first panel. The device is positionable into a first mailer configuration with the second and third panels folded over the first panel to form a substantially rectangular shape for shipping, and into a second display configuration with the second and third panels folded behind the first panel to form a hollow triangular shape for display, with the third panel forming a base and the front face of the first panel facing upwardly and outwardly.
