CLOSURE COMBINATION
A closure combination (101) comprising a dispensing closure body (102) and a container neck (103). The dispensing closure body (102) and container neck (103) comprise co-operable screw threads (104, 105) that allow the dispensing closure body (102) to be screwed onto the container neck (103) into an engaged condition. The co-operable screw threads (104, 105) prevent the dispensing closure body (102) from being unscrewed from the container neck (103) after the dispensing closure body (102) has been screwed onto the container neck (103) into a locked condition. A dispensing closure body (102) comprising an internal screw thread (10) that comprises a reversed-thread run out portion (107). A container with a container neck (103) comprising an external screw thread (105) that comprises a reversed-thread run out portion (108). A method of providing a tamper-resistance container closure combination (101).
Cap assembly having inside seal
A seal and method of forming a seal for a resealable container includes a removable cap that is selectively received over a pour opening formed in a can body. A seal is adhered to the end wall of the cap and includes a continuous, first axial region extending outwardly from the inner surface of the cap. The seal first region is dimensioned for engagement with the opening in the container and sealing the container along an inner diameter thereof. Reduced on-torque/off-torque are required since the seal is formed on the inner diameter, and a down force is substantially reduced to assemble the cap to the container.
Methods, systems and apparatuses for management and storage
The present invention relates to systems, methods, and apparatuses for the management, distribution, dispensing, and administration of consumer products, including over-the-counter and prescription medications through use of a product container labeling system and an optional integrated computer-based or online management system. In certain aspects, the invention relates to a product container comprising a hollow body, a child-resistant cap, and a specialized information label affixed to the hollow body.
CAPPED CONTAINER
A capped container is provided, which maintains, by a simple fastening structure, like a conventional one, sufficient sealability inside and prevents contents from leaking outside an opening of a container body when opening while fastening a cap and a container, and also prevents the leakage, even when an expected large force is applied to the cap in an opening direction. Included are the container body with outer screws on an outer peripheral surface of a head section, and the cap with inner screws threadedly engaged therewith on an inner peripheral surface, placed on and removed from the head section of the container body by screw-fitting. Provided are a first fastening means by clickstop including a cap-side annular projection interengaged with the cap on the container body, and a second fastening means by clickstop including pluralities of container body- and cap-side projections on the container body and in the cap, respectively.
OPENING AND CLOSING APPARATUS CAPABLE OF CONTROLLING OPENING SAME AND CONTAINER PROVIDED WITH THE APPARATUS
The present invention relates to an opening and closing apparatus capable of controlling opening same and a container provided with the apparatus, the opening and closing apparatus controlling opening the container by a user by means of: an opening and closing device, provided on a container main body for storing content, having a turning part necessary for opening the container main body on the outer surface of the opening and closing device, and opening and closing one end of the container main body; and a turning control part, separated from the opening and closing actions of the opening and closing device for controlling the operation of the turning part.
PERFORABLE CONTAINER CAP
A perforable container cap having a top surface that includes a central aperture covered by a membrane that is thin, relative to the thickness of the rest of the cap structure, and, therefore, relatively easy to pierce or puncture with a sampling tube or needle. Embodiments of the container cap may include a membrane comprising a thin plastic, rubber or foil.
Closure
A closure including an upper wall (25) defining an opening (36) and a cylindrical snap on pipe (30) depending from the upper wall. The pipe includes threads (34) designed to mate with external threads on a neck of the bottle. The threads on the pipe and threads on the neck of the bottle pass over each other when the closure is snapped onto the bottle during manufacture. The pipe includes a resistance recess (42) and a guidance recess (70). The resistance recess and the guidance recess accommodate a forcing element (50) on a shoulder (80) of the bottle and permit unscrewing of the closure. The walls (44, 46) of the resistance recess are preferably symmetrical.
CONTAINER HAVING A LOCKING CLOSURE
A package including a closure engaged with a container. The closure has one or more tabs that abut one or more abutments. The tabs can be displaced towards the longitudinal axis and the closure can be rotated in the disengagement direction to dislodge the closure from the container.
Container Closure Assembly With Pressure Seal
The invention provides a container closure assembly comprising: a container neck (10) having side walls defining an opening at one end thereof and a lip (14) extending around the opening; a cap (12) for said neck, the cap having a base portion (22) and a threaded skirt portion (24); a first screw thread (16) on the neck; a second screw thread (26) on an inner surface of the threaded skirt of the cap; said first and second screw threads being configured to enable a user to secure, remove and resecure the cap into a sealing position on the neck by rotation of the cap on the neck; a sealing plug (52) extending from said base portion of the cap inside and substantially concentric with said threaded skirt portion of the cap, wherein the sealing plug is an olive sealing plug for forming a seal against an inside surface of the container neck when the cap is secured on the container neck; and a sealing skirt (54) extending from said base portion of the cap intermediate said sealing plug and said threaded skirt portion of the cap and substantially concentric with said sealing plug and said threaded skirt portion of the cap, wherein said cap can be displaced towards said neck from said sealing position by application of an axial force without rotation of the cap on the neck and substantially without plastic deformation of the cap.
BACK-OFF RESISTANT CLOSURE SYSTEM
A resealable anti back-off closure system that is substantially leak-proof and back-off resistant. A closure and container include mating screw threads. The closure includes recesses formed within the interior surface of the closure adapted to cooperate with protrusions formed on the neck of the container. The protrusions and recesses releasably lock together when the closure is screwed onto the container. The closure and container form at least two seals when coupled, including a flange seal and a land seal.
