Container cap with integrated straw
A container cap with integrated straw includes a cap body which carries a drinking straw and is attachable to a beverage container. The container cap engages a neck of the beverage container in a watertight seal to prevent spillage of the beverage from the beverage container during use. A cap retainer can embrace the container cap for enhancing the watertight fitting of the container cap against the neck of the beverage container. The drinking straw can include a distal closed end that opens in the event of user aspiration on the straw. The distal closed end can be provided on the straw or on a disconnectable straw extension.
SEALING DEVICE
A sealing device for a cylindrical container with a collar featuring a variety of different types of inwardly projecting flanges configured to engage with an internally threaded lid. The collar fits over the top and/or the bottom of the container allowing the inward flange to contact the underside of the container's upper rim thereby preventing the collar from being pulled back over the top of the container. Preferred embodiments include an inward flange that can be segmented by slits forming tabs or teeth inside the collar. These tabs can be deformed and pushed aside when the collar is being put into place on the container and then spring back into place to prevent the collar from being removed. Preferred embodiments can include an expansion groove to allow the flange room to flex.

Container closure and preform
A container closure system comprises a container 100 comprising a neck 120 having an outer surface, the neck including a plurality of snap ring segments 140 alternating with a plurality of snap ring voids 160 positioned around a circumference of the outer surface. The length of the circumference at which snap ring voids exist is 25% or more of the total length of the circumference. The plurality of snap ring segments is positioned at regular increments around a circumference of the outer surface. The system further includes a cap 14 comprising, among other things, a base 26 that comprises a plurality of snap prongs 16 arranged so as to engage and disengage the plurality of snap ring segments when the cap is rotated on the neck of the container. The plurality of snap prongs are configured to hold the cap on or release the cap from the container.
CAP ARRANGEMENT FOR BOTTLE
Disclosed is a cap arrangement for a bottle. The cap arrangement comprises a cap having a flat portion, and a hollow portion having a first end and an opposite second end. The hollow portion extends vertically from a periphery of the flat portion. One or more internal threads are arranged on the second end, of the hollow portion, away from the first end. The cap arrangement further comprises a mouth portion of the bottle, wherein the mouth portion comprises one or more complementary external threads arranged away from an opening of the mouth portion of the bottle. The one or more external threads and the one or more internal threads allow threadable engagement between the cap and the mouth portion away from the opening of the bottle.
CONTAINER AND PACKAGE
To provide a container and a package configured to prevent a deformation of housed metal. According to one aspect of the present invention, there is provided the container. This container includes a cylindrical container body, a lid, and a flat plate-shaped inner plug. The cylindrical container body with a bottom has a sidewall and a bottom wall. The lid has a flat plate portion and a side portion. The flat plate portion covers an opening of the container body. The side portion covers at least a part of an outer peripheral surface of the container body. The flat plate-shaped inner plug is located inside the lid. The container body includes a thread ridge on the outer peripheral surface. The side portion of the lid has a screw groove with two or more threads on its inner peripheral surface. The lid is configured to be screwed with the container body by screwing the screw groove with the thread ridge. A plurality of lock portions are disposed on an outer periphery of the lid. The screw groove has the threads by a count identical to a count of the lock portions. The inner plug is held to an inside of the lid by each of the lock portions fitted into each inside of the screw grooves.

METHOD FOR FORMING A METAL CONTAINER WITH A CARRIER RING AND RESULTING CONTAINER
Disclosed is a method for retaining an outsert on a neck. The method includes providing a neck with a sidewall for a metal body. The method further includes forming an outward curl in the metal sidewall. The method further includes sliding a plastic outsert down onto the neck. The plastic outsert has a first inner diameter at a first end that is smaller than a diameter of the neck encompassing the outward curl. The outward curl is configured to flex as the plastic outsert slides down onto the neck to accommodate the first end of the plastic outsert passing over the outward curl. The method further includes retaining the plastic outsert on the neck between a first interference fit at a first interface of the metal sidewall and the plastic outsert and at a second interference fit between a top edge of the plastic outsert and the outward curl.
