Container with twist-off closure
A container comprises a releasable metal closure formed with an end wall and a depending skirt and having an annular layer of sealing compound provided on the inside of the end wall adjacent the skirt and a container body comprising a neck with an annular sealing surface surrounding a circular opening and adapted to seal against the annular layer of sealing compound over an annular sealing interface in the closed position of the closure on the container body. The container body and the closure are formed with no mechanical means for coupling them together to form or maintain a seal therebetween and the seal is provided by a partial vacuum formed in the container during processing. The annular sealing surface of the container body is formed with a localized protrusion or recess which provides a discontinuity in the annular sealing interface, whereby relative rotation of the closure and container body from the closed position creates a venting path from the interior of the container body to the exterior so that the seal is broken and the closure is released.
Sealing mechanism for a beverage container
Some embodiments described herein are directed to a beverage container including a drinking opening, a closure, and a seal. The closure is configured to selectively close the drinking opening. The seal is coupled to the closure and configured to seal the drinking opening when the closure closes the drinking opening. The closure includes a shaft extending down from an interior of the closure. The seal covers the shaft, and a slit extends through a portion of the seal covering the shaft.
CAN END
A can end having a metallic end surface in which an opening is formed that is bounded by a closed margin of the end surface and that can be closed by a closure piece is provided. The can end has a sealing frame and a closure unit that supports the closure piece and that is pivotably attached to the metallic end surface. The sealing frame and the closure unit can be releasably connected in a fluidtight manner to one another via a sealing rib and an associated reception groove. Respective latching lugs are arranged at the one sealing rib and at the reception groove. In a starting position of the closure unit, the closure piece is flush with the surrounding end surface or is offset in parallel therefrom by less than the thickness of the metallic end surface.
ORBITAL SHAKER BOTTLE AND METHODS OF USE
A beverage mixing container designed to blend protein powders and dietary supplements with liquids, such as water or milk, into a smooth consistency without an internal mixing object. Featuring a main body with a spherical upper portion tapering to a cylindrical lower portion, the container leverages shape-change technology to achieve efficient mixing through rotational movement, utilizing steep internal curves to accelerate liquids. A removable lower endcap allows bottom-loading of ingredients and simplifies cleaning, while an upper endcap with a spout-closure arm ensures secure access. The compact design, enhanced by the high volume-to-size ratio of the spherical form, fits most cup holders. Easy-grip endcaps with shallow grooves and a specially designed carrying attachment, doubling as a stabilization loop, improve usability and portability. This innovative configuration addresses common issues with traditional shakers, offering a practical, hygienic, and distinctive solution for on-the-go nutrition.
