A tamper-evident closure is provided and comprises a body and a separate plug member. The body has a sidewall including screw thread formations for screwing the closure onto a screw threaded container neck and the plug member is locatable on the neck to seal it. The closure comprises a tamper-evident member at least part of which is movable from a first position to a second position when the closure is unscrewed from the neck for the first time and, in use, when the body is unscrewed the body moves axially with respect to the plug member to cause the tamper-evident member to move from the first to the second position.

A CLOSURE FOR A CONTAINER, A TAMPER INDICATING BAND, A COMBINATION AND A METHOD

A closure for a container, the closure comprising a top panel, a skirt extending from the periphery of the top panel, and a tamper indicating band frangibly connected to an open end of the skirt at a line of weakness, the band including a retaining segment (109) on an inner surface thereof so arranged, when the closure is in a closed position on a neck of the container, to engage under an engagement surface of a retaining structure arranged on the container neck, wherein the tamper indicating band includes at least one indent (117) arranged on an outer surface of the tamper indicating bond.

SEALING DEVICE FOR A CONTAINER FOR ASEPTICALLY RECEIVING A FLOWABLE PRODUCT AND CONTAINER AND METHOD FOR ASEPTIC FILLING
20180029758 · 2018-02-01 ·

A closure device for a container for aseptically receiving a flowable product has a spout with a product filling duct extending axially between a first end and a second end. The closure device has a closure cap which can be mounted onto the spout. In the mounted state, the cap closes the second end of the product filling duct. The closure cap is connectable in axially positively locking fashion to the spout in two axially different positions. The first position is a position in which the closure cap is not fully mounted on the spout, and the second position is a position in which the closure cap is fully mounted on the spout. The closure cap can bear sealingly against the spout in the first position and in the second position to optimize sterility during the filling process.

Closure with liner

A closure for a container is provided with a top portion and a skirt depending from an outer periphery of the top portion. A generally circular rim extends downwards from the lower surface of the top portion. A liner is attached to the closure between an outer surface of the rim and an inner surface of the skirt. The liner is configured to provide a fluid tight seal for containers having varied neck dimensions and/or profiles. One or more projections extend into a space formed between the lower surface of the top portion, an inner surface of the skirt, and an outer surface of the rim, with the liner enveloping and being supported in the closure by the one or more projections.
