Tamper evident closure
A tamper-evident closure for a container comprises a shell having a break line along which it is separated during a first opening of the closure. The shell further comprises a first shell portion on one side of the break line, a second shell portion on the other side of the break line, and a distortable portion, which is distorted during the first opening of the closure. The distortable portion is spaced from and separate to the break line.
Cap assembly having inside seal
A seal and method of forming a seal for a resealable container includes a removable cap that is selectively received over a pour opening formed in a can body. A seal is adhered to the end wall of the cap and includes a continuous, first axial region extending outwardly from the inner surface of the cap. The seal first region is dimensioned for engagement with the opening in the container and sealing the container along an inner diameter thereof. Reduced on-torque/off-torque are required since the seal is formed on the inner diameter, and a down force is substantially reduced to assemble the cap to the container.
METAL CAP AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
A metal cap in which a linear to be held to a cap body and separable from the cap body can be formed by a series of operations for forming the cap body and press molding the liner. The liner of the metal cap has a double-layer structure including a barrier layer on a top panel wall side and a sealing layer on the inner side of the cap body, and the barrier layer is temporarily bonded to the top panel wall with a weak adhesive at the time of molding the barrier layer and separated from the top panel wall by the natural cooling of the barrier layer after molding.
METAL CONTAINER COMPRISING A NECK CAPABLE OF RECEIVING A SCREW CAP-TYPE SEALING ELEMENT
Disclosed is a metal container including a neck, wherein a screw thread and a ring collar are provided. The screw thread:includes a top radius between 0.85 and 1.2 mm and a bottom radius between 0.5 and 0.7 mm;the lower flank of the ring collar, which diverges from the top flank in the direction of the longitudinal axis, defines an angle of between 20 and 30 relative to a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis;the outer rim of the bottom flank of the ring collar has a radius between 0.7 and 0.9 mm, andthe inner rim of the lower flank of the ring collar is provided at a distance of between 13 and 15 mm relative to the free rim of the neck.
Bottle cap
The invention relates to a closure cap to be placed on the neck of a drinks bottle. The invention has the object of providing a closure cap which bears as a closure seal against the top of the bottle neck. According to the invention, this is achieved by an upper breakthrough in the closure cap. into which an internally inserted disc-like decorative item engages. the closure cap having at least in part a retaining bead that runs parallel to the top of the closure cap and projects into the cap. into which retaining bead are inserted a liner plate also running parallel to the cap top and the decorative item engaging in the top. This liner plate secures the decorative item in the position in the top of the closure cap and bears as a closure seal against the top of the bottle neck.
Cap and method for manufacturing cap
A cap includes: a cap body including a top plate portion and a cylindrical skirt portion; a sealing member provided in the cap body separately from the cap body so as to face the top plate portion; a plurality of locking portions arranged in a circumferential direction in the skirt portion, the locking portions protruding inward in a radial direction of the skirt portion and supporting the sealing member; a plurality of small diameter portions arranged between the top plate portion and the locking portions of the skirt portion, the small diameter portions being respectively provided on a top plate portion side of the locking portions in the axial direction; and a plurality of large diameter portions provided adjacent to the small diameter portions in the circumferential direction and having an inscribed circle diameter larger than an inscribed circle diameter of the plurality of small diameter portions.
