A removable lid for a drinking cup is described. The removable lid has a top side with an ellipsoidal recession having a bottom opening. A baffle wall extends from the perimeter of the bottom opening, and is configured to prevent a beverage from passing through the bottom opening upon sudden movement of the beverage. The ellipsoidal recession may be designed so that a hot beverage being consumed through the removable lid is exposed to more outside air for cooling purposes. The same ellipsoidal recession may be designed to funnel added ingredients into a beverage. The removable lid may have a stirrer opening so that stirrers may be inserted and taken out without lid removal. For additional strength, the surface of the removable lid may be textured to increase its moment of inertia. The bottom opening of the removable lid may be closed using a fitted blocking plug.

A reusable packaging and storage article for an elastic constriction ring is described wherein the article comprises a bottom top member and a member configured to releasably engage with each other, wherein the bottom member comprises: a cavity of substantially circular shape having a perimeter lip with an inner and outer surface to house, in use, a portion of the elastic constriction ring; and an at least partially pillar extending from a substantially central portion of the cavity; and wherein a summit of the pillar has a diameter less than the diameter of a central aperture of the elastic constriction ring, and a lower portion of the pillar has a diameter greater than the diameter of a central aperture of the elastic constriction ring; and wherein the top member comprises: a cavity of substantially circular shape having a perimeter lip with an inner and outer surface to house, in use, a portion of the elastic constriction ring, wherein the diameter of an inner surface of the perimeter is the same or greater than the diameter of the outer surface of the perimeter lip of the bottom member. A consumer product is also described.

A storage box includes a box body having an opening, an upper cover and a side cover. The upper cover has an upper cover body covering removably an upper opening portion of the opening of the box body, a waterproof segment connected to a portion of a periphery of the upper cover body, and two pivot segments connected respectively to opposite ends of the waterproof segment. The side cover has a side cover body covering removably a side opening portion of the opening of the box body, and a pivot section connected pivotally to the pivot segments and having a side edge connected to a portion of a periphery of the side cover body. The pivot section is covered by and received in the waterproof segment of the upper body.

An embodiment of a container may include a cap and a body. The cap may include a top portion, cap walls that form an outer perimeter, and a protruding end that forms an inner perimeter sized smaller than the outer perimeter. The body may include a bottom portion and body walls with distal outermost ends that form a cavity and a body perimeter. The body perimeter may be substantially the same as the outer perimeter. The body may also include upper outer and inner rims disposed around the entire distal outermost ends and having a channel between them. The channel may be sized to receive the protruding end in a friction seal when the container is in a closed position. No portion of the cap may be configured to extend into the cavity or beyond the body perimeter in the closed position.

A package for a fresh food selected from fresh mushrooms, fruits, and vegetables. The package includes a substrate having a coating in contact with the fresh food. According to one embodiment the coating includes a hygroscopic polymer matrix, a plasticizer, and a desiccant material selected from calcium chloride, calcium oxide, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride, magnesium sulfate, ammonium chloride, sodium nitrate, citric acid, and tartaric acid, and wherein the amount of plasticizer is from 5 to 20 wt. % with respect to the amount of polymer matrix, and the amount of desiccant material is from 25 to 60 wt. % with respect to the amount of polymer matrix. Also, is provided a process for producing the package.

In one aspect, the present invention is directed to a time-oriented pill dispenser, comprising: a bulk pills container having an opening, and a corresponding lid; an impression of different time notations, dispersed on an external side of a wall of the container along a circumference thereof, in proximity to the lid; and a pointer in a form of a tab of the lid, or a mark on the lid, for pointing at one of the time notations of the impression in a closed state of the container; wherein securing the lid to the container enables placing the pointer to point at each of the notations; thereby on closing the container by the lid, enabling a user marking the current time as the last time of taking a pill from the container by positioning the pointer on the corresponding time notation in the impression.

A cover for covering an opening of a container for a food stuff includes a substantially flat cover body including at least one aperture and at least one substantially flat flap. The at least one flap including a linear proximal end configured to connect with the cover body and allow the at least one flap to rotate with respect to the cover body. A lower surface of the at least one flap includes a protrusion configured to close the at least one aperture when the at least one flap is at a first position in which the at least one flap is in parallel with the cover body. The cover body and the at least one flap are integrally formed by a co-injection molding. The container and cover are suitable for heating a food stuff in a microwave.

A container is disclosed. The container includes a cover and a container body, a rotation member is rotatably coupled to the cover, and the rotation member pulls down the cover so as to be coupled to the container body when the rotation member is coupled to the container body.

A lid for a drinking cup for two having a generally circular panel of flexible material and having a circular retaining rim securing the lid to the circular rim of a drinking cup. The lid has a pair of orienting and access receptacles depending from the circular panel and having side walls sufficiently spaced to receive a drinking straw therebetween. The receptacles have drinking straw orienting walls for orientation of a pair of drinking straws within a cup. The receptacles each have a drinking straw entry wall oriented at an abrupt angle with the orienting wall and having a perforation permitting a drinking straw to be forced through the perforation and into a cup to which said lid is assembled.

A storage box includes a box body having an opening, an upper cover and a side cover. The upper cover has an upper cover body covering removably an upper opening portion of the opening of the box body, a waterproof segment connected to a portion of a periphery of the upper cover body, and two pivot segments connected respectively to opposite ends of the waterproof segment. The side cover has a side cover body covering removably a side opening portion of the opening of the box body, and a pivot section connected pivotally to the pivot segments and having a side edge connected to a portion of a periphery of the side cover body. The pivot section is covered by and received in the waterproof segment of the upper body.
