POUR SPOUT DEVICE
A pour spout device including a lid and a vented pour spout for improving the sealing of an opening of a wide-mouthed jar or container. The lid has a cover and a threaded outer wall, and a seal ring track on the inner side of the cover, having an inner boundary defined by a plurality of retaining ribs spaced radially inwardly from the outer wall of the lid. An annular seal is removably secured within the seal ring track and is retained by the plurality of retaining ribs. Each quadrant of the inner side of the lid has at least one of the arcuate-shaped retaining ribs, each having an outer-facing surface that retains the inside edge of all four quadrants of the annular seal from being biased laterally out of the seal ring track when the annular seal is squeezed between the lid and the upper rim of the container.
Nested lid containers
Apparatuses, systems, and methods are presented for nesting lid containers. An apparatus includes a first container that includes a bottom, at least one container side wall located perpendicular to a first surface of the bottom and extending from the first surface of the bottom to an open top to form a container, at least one divider side wall configured to partition the container into a plurality of sections, and a suction-type element located on a second surface of the bottom opposite the first surface, the suction-type element configured to selectively adhere the first container to a surface. An apparatus includes a second container that is configured to receive the at least one container side wall of the first container and selectively be secured to the first container such that the second container acts as a lid for the first container.
BAFFLED DRINKING CUP LID
A removable lid for a drinking cup is described. The removable lid has a top side with an ellipsoidal recession having a bottom opening. A baffle wall extends from the perimeter of the bottom opening, and is configured to prevent a beverage from passing through the bottom opening upon sudden movement of the beverage. The ellipsoidal recession may be designed so that a hot beverage being consumed through the removable lid is exposed to more outside air for cooling purposes. The same ellipsoidal recession may be designed to funnel added ingredients into a beverage. The removable lid may have a stirrer opening so that stirrers may be inserted and taken out without lid removal. For additional strength, the surface of the removable lid may be textured to increase its moment of inertia. The bottom opening of the removable lid may be closed using a fitted blocking plug.
SPILL PREVENTION SYSTEM FOR DRINKING CUP
Reusable packaging and storage
A reusable packaging and storage article for an elastic constriction ring is described wherein the article comprises a top member and a bottom member configured to releasably engage with each other, wherein the bottom member comprises: a cavity of substantially circular shape having a perimeter lip with an inner and outer surface to house, in use, a portion of the elastic constriction ring; and an at least partially pillar extending from a substantially central portion of the cavity; and wherein a summit of the pillar has a diameter less than the diameter of a central aperture of the elastic constriction ring, and a lower portion of the pillar has a diameter greater than the diameter of a central aperture of the elastic constriction ring; and wherein the top member comprises: a cavity of substantially circular shape having a perimeter lip with an inner and outer surface to house, in use, a portion of the elastic constriction ring, wherein the diameter of an inner surface of the perimeter is the same or greater than the diameter of the outer surface of the perimeter lip of the bottom member. A consumer product is also described.
Cup lid with wide drinking edge and interior baffle wall
CAKE CONTAINERS
The invention relates to a portable container 10 for transporting a cake. The portable container comprises a container base 12 defining a support surface 22 for supporting a cake thereon. The portable container also comprises at least one container section 14. Each container section 14 is open at a top and at a bottom and defines a space which is enclosed by sides of the container section. The portable container further comprises a cover 18 defining a recess. The container base 12 and the container section 14 are releasably attached to each other whereby a lower part of a cake supported on the support surface is received in the space defined by the container section when the container base and the container section are attached to each other. The support surface 22 bounded by the sides of the container section 14 lies substantially in a single plane. The container section 14 and the cover 18 are releasably attached to each other whereby an upper part of the cake supported on the support surface 22 is received in the recess defined by the cover when the container section and the cover are attached to each other.
FOOD STORAGE CONTAINER
A configurable container is provided that has an interior surface configured to secure one or more rigid or flexible dividers and to allow for reconfigurable interior compartments of the container. The dividers may also include an integrated material such as a gel that can be heated or cooled in order to maintain a desired temperature within the container. The container may include a lid that engages the top surfaces of the dividers to establish a plurality of substantially sealed compartments within the container.
