A food and beverage Appliance enables storage and consumption of a food and beverage snack, such as cereal and milk, in a portable form factor suitable to consume the snack while in motion or during or after traveling. The Appliance stores the food and beverage separately to preserve the crispiness and freshness. It dispenses the food and beverage separately and non-simultaneously to preserve the crispiness and freshness until tasting, and to allow the user to control exactly the size of each portion dispensed. The Appliance prevents leakage of the beverage out it its container, during filling, storage, traveling, or dispensing, to avoid getting the food soggy prior to dispensing and to avoid messes. It is also ideal for a use in and creating a new revenue category for restaurants and for pre-packaged retail applications.

A storage container includes a container body, a lid, and a dividing member. The container body defines an accommodating space that has a top opening. The lid is removably disposed on the container body, and has two covering sections that cooperatively cover the opening. Each one of the covering sections is independently operable to uncover a part of the opening. A lid for a flat back bucket comprises a rear lid portion that has a flat back configured to match the flat back of the bucket, a front lid portion, and a plurality of tabs configured to clip the lid to a rim channel of the bucket. The front and rear lid portions are preferably hingedly connected to each other. Plural cut outs or openings are provided in the rear lid portion that are configured to receive, respectively, bail mounts on the bucket. Lips extend from the rear and front lid portions and are positioned so that the lips will be exterior of and overhang the rim channel of the bucket when the lid is on the bucket.

A cooler with a hinging lid is comprised of a top deck having an opening and a unitary hinging lid to cover the opening; insulated sidewalls; and a bottom that together define an enclosed insulated inner volume for storage of objects. The inner volume can be accessed by opening the hinging lid. The storage container can also include a lid rotatably coupled to at least one of the sides and can be moved from a closed position, preventing or limiting access to the storage area, to an open position, allowing access. When the lid is opened, the work surface is rotated into a substantially horizontal position providing a planar top surface to work on. The closure assembly also includes a hinge, the hinge being affixed to the lid and the body, the hinge configured to move the lid from a closed position occluding the opening of the body to an open position permitting passage through the opening, the hinge further configured to urge the lid into the open position, and at least one spring member.
