COVER FOR A CONTAINER
A cover for a container, comprising a central web comprising a first web part and a second web part; and a hinge pivotally connecting the first and second web parts; wherein a first one of the web parts comprises at least one rib on an edge thereof facing the hinge, and a second one of the web parts comprises at least one corresponding recess on an edge thereof facing the hinge.
CONTAINING DEVICE FOR A TREATMENT MACHINE, IN PARTICULAR A WASHING AND/OR STERILIZATION MACHINE, FOR LOOSE PRODUCTS
Containing device for a treatment machine for loose products, provided internally with a treatment compartment that has at least an open side for loading the loose products to be treated, and for unloading the loose products that have been treated; the containing device comprises at least a first loading door for the loose products to be treated, positioned on a first portion of said open side and associated with at least a respective opening and closing unit, and at least a second unloading door for the loose products that have been treated, positioned on a second portion of said open side and associated with at least a respective opening and closing unit.
PRODUCT PACKAGE AND RELATED METHOD
A package has a tray slidably mounted in a carton. The carton has a front access port and at least one catch. The tray has a pair of stops positioned to successively engage at least one catch in order to restrict outward movement of the tray. The tray can be positioned with the pair of stops located inwardly of, and locked in place by, at least one catch. The catch on the carton can be manipulated to clear one of the pair of stops and allow it to move outwardly past the catch.
CONTAINER SYSTEM WITH BASE AND FOLDABLE LID
A container system having a base and a lid. The base has a bottom and one or more sidewalls extending from the bottom to define an interior volume, the base having a rim at a peripheral edge of the one or more sidewalls, the rim defining a first engagement region. The system also has a lid having a peripheral outer rim defining a second engagement region, the first and second engagement regions dimensioned to releasably engage with each other. The lid has a hinged region having a first hinge about which the lid folds as a first part of the lid is lifted from the base to disengage portions of the first and second engagement regions from one another, to provide access to the interior volume of the base while a second part of the lid on an opposite side of the hinge remains secured and attached to the base.
Cooler with hinging lid
A cooler with a hinging lid is comprised of a top deck having an opening and a unitary hinging lid to cover the opening; insulated sidewalls; and a bottom that together define an enclosed insulated inner volume for storage of objects. The inner volume can be accessed by opening the hinging lid. The hinging lid can be selectively opened, segment by segment, to access the inner volume while minimizing the exchange of air between the inner volume and the air surrounding the cooler. The hinging lid is comprised of a pull flap tab, an interior layer of reflective insulating material, at least one layer of support insulation material and a waterproof outer surface layer. The support insulation material of the hinging lid is divided into at least two discrete segments comprising a first segment and a second segment and can be articulated as a hinge between the segments.
Hinged closure for a container
A hinged closure is disclosed for a container. The hinged closure comprises a first closure and a second closure. An internal closure hinge pivotably couples the first closure with the second closure. An exterior closure hinge pivotably couples the second closure with the container. A first locking member is couple to the interior edge of the first closure. A second locking member is coupled to the second closure. The first locking member engages with the second locking member for preventing pivoting of the first closure relative to the second closure and covering the container chamber and prevents access into the container chamber of the container. The first locking member disengaging with the second locking member for permitting pivoting of the first closure relative to the second closure and permitting access into the container chamber of the container and defines a reduced closure height relative to the container.
Openable container
A container is provided including a base, a front panel joined to the base, a right panel and a left panel joined to the base, two rear flaps positionable in a closed configuration comprising a first rear flap joined to the right panel and positionable perpendicular to the right panel and a second rear flap joined to the left panel and positionable perpendicular to the left panel, a rear panel joined to the base, and a top joined to the rear panel. The closed configuration includes the top oriented atop the front panel, right panel, and left panel and the rear panel proximate the two rear flaps. The container is employable in an open configuration wherein the rear panel and top are folded away from the front panel and the two rear flaps opened to non-perpendicular angles from the right panel and left panel such that an article can be horizontally inserted into or retrieved from the container.
Collapsible crate with stowable hinged lid
A collapsible crate or container movable between an erect configuration and a collapsed configuration, has a crate member having an upper peripheral rim, a bottom member, two hinged and collapsible opposing side walls and two hinged end walls that collectively define an interior volume when the crate member is in the erect configuration, and a lid member with first and second lid portions and a hinge that releasably couples the first and second lid portions. The crate member and the lid member also includes latch member to releasably latch the lid member to the crate member in a use/deployed position and a stowed position.
Container Base and Lid with Planar Area for Flat Application of Adhesive Membrane
The embodiments provide a container of the type to hold fresh food or produce. Container has a base and a lid moveable with respect to the base between an open position and a closed position. The lid has a planar area. The base has a second planar area. In the closed position, the first planar and the second planar area include a substantially flat area suitable for receipt of an adhesive membrane, such as a self-adhesive label. The substantially flat area includes an edge of the first planar area and at least part of the second planar area.
CLOSURES AND VESSELS WITH CLOSURES
A closure can close an outlet of a vessel. The vessel outlet can comprise a tubular cavity with an interior surface. The closure can comprise a male portion comprising a distal undersized portion, a proximal oversized portion, and a taper between the undersized and oversized portion. The male portion can be inserted in the vessel outlet, undersized portion first. Interference between the inner diameter of the vessel outlet and the outer diameter of male portion can occur when the male portion is sufficiently inserted. The interference can cause the undersized portion to flare out and engage the interior surface of the tubular cavity, thereby providing a seal.
