Self standing food container
A container has a base flange on a base, and a lid flange on a lid. When the container is in a closed position the lid flange and the base flange are in juxtaposition and one of the flange edges defines a flange support surface. A lid surface is spaced above an upper base periphery when in the closed position to define a lid volume, and the base section defines a base volume. The flange support surface extends a first distance such that when the volume of the container is loaded with a rated capacity of product and the container is placed in a standing position on a flat surface using the flange support surface and a front base corner as support elements, a center of gravity of the container generates a moment about an axis of the base corner that biases the container in the standing position.
Tamper evident container
A tamper evident container includes a cover with a first interlocking flange with a first tab for opening the container and a first extension joined to the first tab along a first frangible score line, a base with a second interlocking flange with a second tab for opening the container and a second extension joined to the second tab along a second frangible score line, a rim extending around a perimeter of the base, the rim having a flat portion connected to an outer wall, and a flange portion extending from the outer wall portion, wherein a position of the flat portion and the flange portion correspond to a sheet line, and wherein the first and second interlocking flanges, when securely fastened together, prevent access to the first and second tabs, and require more force to separate than to sever the first and second extensions along the frangible score lines.
CONTAINER AND LID WITH MULTIPLE SEALS THEREBETWEEN AND METHODS FOR MAKING AND USING THE SAME
A moisture tight container includes a container body and a lid preferably linked to the body by a hinge. The body and lid include at least a first seal and a second seal in series to provide a moisture tight seal between the body and the lid. The first seal includes mating of thermoplastic-to-thermoplastic sealing surfaces of the body and lid respectively. The second seal includes mating of thermoplastic-to-elastomeric sealing surfaces of the body and lid, respectively, or of the lid and body, respectively.
Caps for Catheter Packages
A package for a medical device such as an intermittent catheter has a case which is closed at one end and open at the other end. A cap is connected to the case by a hinge to permit selectable movement of the cap between an open position, wherein access is provided to the open end of the case, and a closed position, wherein the cap prevents access to the open end of the case. A seal is connected to one of the cap and case. The seal is engageable with the other of the cap and case when the cap is closed to form a barrier that maintains a sterile environment inside the package. The seal can be repeatedly made and broken whenever the user closes or opens the cap, respectively. One of the case and cap has a latch and the other has a receptacle for receiving the latch to releasably retain the cap in a closed position. The latches fit into the receptacle to prevent lateral forces from distorting the cap when the cap is closed. A locking slide may be used to lock the cap to the case.
RECEPTACLE FOR COSMETIC PRODUCT MADE OF SINGLE PLASTIC MATERIAL
A receptacle for dispensing cosmetic product includes a base adapted to receive a cup containing the product, a cover being rotatable between a position in which the receptacle is closed and a position in which the receptacle is open, connected to the base by a first hinge connection at the rear part of the receptacle, and a platform being rotatable and clamping the cup in position in the base. The receptacle also includes a structure braking the cover on opening and closing, located in the rear part of the receptacle, and a structure braking the platform on opening and closing, also located in the rear part of the receptacle.
COLLAPSIBLE REUSABLE DRY OR LIQUID STORAGE CONTAINERS
Collapsible reusable watertight carrying cases are provided in sizes varying from small containers without wheels to large sealable container bins on wheels, to provide large quantities of water or other supplies and cargo. The cases are assembled or disassembled from a joined flat space-saving configuration to a functioning case and vice-versa. The sides of the cases are erected progressively by hand by interlocking self sealing reciprocating channel and channel engaging members elements at the corners. The panels also disassemble progressively by being manually pulled apart. Optional foldable locking latches provide stability and aesthetics to the carrying case. When folded into a flat storage or shipping configuration, the panels stay together, resisting unfolding by virtue of snaps which are either molded into the panels or bonded to them. The carrying cases are resistant to water, dirt, bacteria, molds, allergens, and inclement weather.
CHILD-SAFE PACKAGING
Packaging (1) from synthetic material or biopolymers, consisting of a box (2) with lid (3), whereby the lid (3) is hingedly attached on one side to the box and on the other side is provided with a gripping edge (31), with which the lid (3) can be lifted to open the lid, whereby the gripping edge (31) is made inaccessible by a casing (5) located around the box (2), said casing (5) having to be manipulated to make the gripping edge (3′) accessible, after which the lid (2) can be manually lifted.
Cereal Box with Sieve
The invention is a container with a built-in sieve that separates crumbs from cereal. Holes in the sieve are small enough to allow cereal to stay in the upper compartment of the container while large enough to allow crumbs to fall into the lower compartment. A lid is attached to the lower compartment so the consumers can remove the crumbs conveniently at any time.
Tamper evident plastic food container
The tamper evident container includes a base with a base hinge panel and a lid with a lid hinge panel. A hinge connects the panels. A frangible line extends from an edge of the lid hinge panel to a first point on the panel and then outwardly to the hinge. The frangible line crosses the hinge and extends inwardly to a second point on the base hinge panel. From the second point the frangible line extends to an edge of the base hinge panel. When the container is initially sealed, the frangible line separates upon the application of an upwardly directed force to a first portion of the lid hinge panel while a second portion of the lid hinge panel is held in a fixed position or moved downwardly. The separation of the frangible line creates two grasping portions that can be used to pull the lid from the base.
