A case for holding tools or small parts includes a basic body and a lid coupled pivotably to the basic body. The basic body has two side walls, the upper edge of which is exposed in the closed state of the lid, and therefore the lid, in the closed state, is arranged between the upper edges of the side walls of the basic body. Each side wall of the basic body forms a labyrinth seal with the respective side wall of the lid in the closed state of the case.

A card-based package for powdered infant nutrition, comprises a container portion, the container portion defining an interior space for receiving the powdered infant nutrition and having a base and a sidewall extending to an upper peripheral edge for receiving a removable seal for hermetically sealing the container portion prior to use. The package further comprises a collar portion and a lid portion. The collar portion is connected to and extends upwardly from the upper peripheral edge of the container portion and comprises a connection segment and an upper peripheral closure rim surrounding an access opening giving access to the interior space. The lid portion comprises a lid and a frame and forms a re-closable joint with the upper peripheral closure rim of the collar portion, allowing repeated and selective opening and closing of the access opening. The container portion, the collar portion and the lid portion all comprise card-based material.

A smoking accessory is provided. The accessory includes a chamber for selectively storing a small amount of smoking product. In some embodiments, the chamber is watertight for keeping the product dry. In other embodiments, the chamber is air tight for keeping the product fresh. A hot melt adhesive supply system is disclosed. The hot melt adhesive supply system includes an outer container defining an upper cavity and a lower cavity. The upper cavity includes an inner container having a top opening to receive unmelted hot melt adhesive pieces and a bottom aperture. The system also includes a dispensing mechanism between the upper cavity and the lower cavity. The dispensing mechanism regulates the dispensing of the unmelted hot melt adhesive pieces from the upper cavity to the lower cavity. The dispensing mechanism includes a base plate and one or more rotating members that rotate to move the unmelted hot melt adhesive pieces through a gap defined between the base plate and the bottom aperture. The system also includes a transfer conduit that communicates the unmelted hot melt adhesive pieces from the lower cavity to a hot melt adhesive melter.

A novel and unique container of a general clamshell configuration with a self-aligning lid is provided. The hinge of the container provides a hinged connection between the lid and the base of the container. The hinge includes pins that extend into corresponding receiving slots on the base that align the lid in the X and Y directions over the open top end of the base as the lid is pivoted closed. With the lid aligned on the base, downward pressure in the Z direction results in better and more reliable frictional engagement of the lid to the base. As a result, the container with self-aligning lid is particularly well-suited for use in automatic machinery for filling and closing such containers.

A medicine bottle cap includes a flip-top assembly and an outer cap pivotably attached to the flip top assembly and having an interior wall of the side wall that includes gear teeth. The medicine bottle cap further includes a pill delivery gear having gear teeth that engage the gear teeth in the outer cap and an inner cap having a slot for receiving a tab from the pill delivery gear for rotation thereof.
