PATTERNED CAN END MODULAR DISPENSING SYSTEMS WITH ENHANCED RECYCLABILITY
Apparatus and associated methods relate to a can having a pattern of radial displacement of material of a malleable can end with respect to a longitudinal axis of a malleable can body. In an illustrative example, the can end may sealingly couple to an open end of the longitudinally extending can body by a circumferential seam to form a sealed cavity. A can-opening dispenser may, for example, include at least one radially displaceable element (RDEL) configured such that, when operated into releasable engagement with the radially patterned seam, the dispenser resists rotation relative to the can about the longitudinal axis of the can. The RDEL may, for example, be radially deflected by operation of a collar in a first rotational direction (FRD). Continued operation of the collar in the FRD may, for example, operate an opening member to open the can. Various embodiments may advantageously provide self-opening dispensers for recyclable cans.
Sealing cover
Disclosed is a sealing cover, which is suitable for sealing an opening of a container, comprising an extrusion lid and a flexible sealing ring, wherein the container has an opening, the extrusion lid comprises an outer cover, an inner shield cover, a screw rod and a knob, the outer cover covers the opening, and the inner shield cover is arranged in the opening and is located under the outer cover; the screw rod movably penetrates the outer cover, the lower end of the screw rod is fixedly connected to the inner shield cover, and the upper end of the screw rod is connected in a threaded manner to the knob; and the flexible sealing ring is sheathed on the screw rod and is located between the outer cover and the inner shield cover, and when the knob is rotated, the screw rod drives the inner shield cover to move upwards and squeezes the flexible sealing ring to force the flexible sealing ring to be attached to an inner circumferential wall of the opening after expansion to form a seal. The sealing cover provided by the present invention can seal the opening of a container, and the sealing cover has a simple structure, is convenient to use, and has a good sealing effect.
Drink container with torque-limiting lid
A drink container with torque-limiting lid is provided. The drink container includes a lid that can be threadably coupled to a container body having a volume to hold fluids. The lid can include an inner lid assembly concentric with an outer lid assembly. The inner lid assembly can include a multiple ratchet teeth along an outer perimeter and the outer lid assembly can include one or more ratchet pawls along an inner perimeter and configured to engage the ratchet teeth. Rotational force on the outer lid assembly can be transferred to the inner lid assembly from the ratchet pawls to the ratchet teeth to threadably couple the inner lid assembly to the container body. Once a torque limit is reached, the ratchet pawls can slip along the ratchet teeth preventing further tightening of the inner lid assembly to the container body.
CAP
The invention relates to a cap designed to be coupled to the neck of a container. The cap comprises an inner body and an outer body coupled around the inner body, the rotation of the outer body causing same to move in an axial direction with respect to the inner body. The inner body comprises a peripheral skirt having a lower part split into a plurality of feet. The feet comprise outer surfaces that form a frustoconical shape with a sloped generatrix converging upwards, and inner surfaces with projections that delimit a circular hollow. The cap also comprises a sealing device for preventing the rotation of the outer body with respect to the inner body.
CONTAINER ADAPTER LIDS
A method, system, apparatus, and/or device for an adapter lid of a container. The method, system, apparatus, and/or device may include a planar wall extending along a horizontal plane, the planar wall being configured to attach to a gasket and extend along a rim of a container, where the planar wall includes an opening to provide a passage for the object to enter a cavity of the container. The method, system, apparatus, and/or device may include an opening wall configured to circumscribe the opening and extend from the horizontal plane to form a spout, where the adapter lid is configured to attach to the rim of the container in a normal orientation and attach to the rim of the container in a reverse orientation.
Drinking Vessel with Multiple Compartments
A drinking vessel assembly for containing multiple fluids includes a container with a plurality of discrete compartments for containing one or more fluids. Each of a plurality of caps covers one of the compartments. A lid has is rotatably coupled to the container and has an opening that is positionable in each of a plurality of selection positions such that the opening exposes a selected one of the caps. A locking assembly engages the lid and the container to secure the lid in one of the selection positions.

A locking assembly engages the lid and the container to secure the lid in one of the selection positions.
Container time indicator with a device for inhibiting the removal of the cap
A time programmable container that includes a base, a reversible lid, and a spacer positioned intermediate the lid and the base. The spacer is positionable in a select one of a plurality of positions on the base. The spacer and the base contain time indicia such that each of the plurality of positions that the spacer can be placed upon the base corresponds to a different of time indication. The reversible lid includes a cavity on the bottom surface of a lip which mates with a tab on the spacer, such that when the spacer is placed upon the base and the lid is threaded onto the base, the tab secures prevents the removal of the lid from the base without first removing the tab from the cavity, and when the lid is reversed, the tab does not inhibit the removal of the lid from the base.
SINGLE USE CAP
The disclosed principles provide for single use caps that may be applied to any of a number of receptacles, containers, vessels, needless connectors, or other device. A single use cap as disclosed herein includes a component that, when the cap is threaded onto a receptacle or device, is moved from an unused to a used position by the twisting force applied to the cap when secured onto the receptacle or device. Specifically, once the threads of the receptacle or device are received into the cap and a twisting or tightening force is continued to be applied to the cap, the continued twisting force causes this component to rotate laterally so that once the cap is removed from the receptacle or device, the threads of the cap are no longer reachable by the threads on the receptacle or device.
Composite closure having improved seal
A composite closure which includes an improved sealing gasket material and shape. The Closure includes an end panel that is received in a circular plastic fitment having a central opening therein defined by an inwardly extending flange which over-lies in an outer periphery of the end panel and an integral skirt downwardly depending from the flange. The fitment includes an inwardly extending circumferential bead or bead segments which include a substantially non-deformable flat vertical surfaces that are substantially parallel to the axis of the closure and axially positioned to contact the radial outer-most edge of the end panel when the closure is fully applied to a container. The sealing gasket has the shape of an annulus with a particular cross-section and formed from a PVC free material.
