Drink bottle with controlled opening
A drink bottle may include a container, a lid connected to the container and including a lid housing, a spout coupled to the lid housing, and an actuator assembly movably connected to the lid housing. The spout is movable between a stowed configuration and a dispensing configuration, the spout defining a passageway in fluid communication with an interior of the container when disposed in the dispensing configuration. The actuator assembly is operatively coupled to the spout when the spout is disposed in the stowed configuration to retain the spout in the stowed configuration, and the spout moves from the stowed configuration to the dispensing configuration responsive to actuation of the actuator assembly.
NO-SPILL DRINKING CONTAINER
An easily cleanable liquid container includes a straw having a pivotably mounted internal one-way spill preventing valve and a closable drinking spout with an overmolded drinking tip. The pivotably mounted internal one-way spill preventing valve is retained in a pivotable straw nut that is pivotably attached to a straw tube, which allows easy access to internal straw components for easier cleaning. The overmolded drinking tip and a wiper seal limit the number of cracks and crevices that may collect dirt or other contaminants.
Water bottle
A water bottle is disclosed. The water bottle has a reservoir that defines a space for holding a liquid, wherein the reservoir comprises an open top and a closed bottom. The water bottle also has a lid that is configured to engage with the reservoir over the open top. The water bottle also has a straw, and a pivotable mouthpiece that is attached to the lid and that comprises a fluid conduit that is fluidly connected to the straw.
Apparatus and method for preserving carbonated beverages or other liquids
An apparatus for preserving carbonated beverages or other liquids features a container, and an impermeable piston that divides the container interior into a lower chamber beneath the piston for storage of a liquid, and an upper chamber above the piston. An axially extendable and collapsible conduit has a lower end sealed to the piston around a flow opening that passes axially therethrough, and an upper end connected and sealed to an upper portion of the container around a mouth opening therein. A valve mechanism features a closure member movable between open and closed positions that respectively open and close the flow opening in the piston. Opening of the closure member allows pouring of the liquid out of the container via the flow opening, the conduit and the mouth, and closing of the closure member seals the lower chamber closed in order to preserve the liquid.
DRINK CONTAINERS
Drink containers with mouthpiece assemblies having a dispensing configuration and a stowed configuration. A mouthpiece assembly defines a liquid passage through which drink liquid may be dispensed when the mouthpiece assembly is in the dispensing configuration and includes means for selectively restricting the flow of drink liquid through the liquid passage when the mouthpiece assembly is in the stowed configuration. In some examples, the means for selectively restricting the flow of drink liquid include a tube that at least partially defines the liquid passage and which includes a crimping region. The crimping region may be constructed of a resiliently and reversibly deformable material that is adapted to restrict the flow of drink liquid through the liquid passage when the mouthpiece assembly is in the stowed configuration. In some embodiments, the mouthpiece assembly includes a means for automatically releasing the mouthpiece assembly from its stowed configuration to a dispensing configuration.
Methods and systems for dispensing heated water-insoluble liquids
A container for dispensing a liquid water-insoluble edible fat includes a main body portion containing a body volume and a fill sub-volume, less than the body volume, within a first region of the main body portion. The container includes a pouring portion configured to direct a flow of the liquid water-insoluble edible fat out of the container when the container is tilted off of a vertical axis, and a neck portion connecting the main body portion to the pouring portion. The neck portion has a neck width less than a width of the main body portion in a first direction, the main body volume is configured to further include a catch sub-volume within a second region of the main body portion extending beyond the neck width in the first direction, the second region is different than the first region, and the catch sub-volume is substantially equal to the fill sub-volume.
Dispensing cap
A dispensing cap comprising a dispensing orifice and an anti-glug orifice, the cap further comprising a closure member movable from a closed position to an open position, in which in the closed position the anti-glug orifice is blocked by the closure member and the dispensing orifice is closed, and in the open position the dispensing orifice is open and the anti-glug orifice is unblocked.
APPARATUS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS TO CARBONATE WATER OR A WATER-BASED LIQUID
There is disclosed an apparatus and methods for carbonating water or a water-based liquid from an effervescent composition. The apparatus may include a lid coupled to a container wherein the ratio of a volume capacity of a receptacle for effervescent composition to a volume capacity of the container for water or water-based liquid is greater than 1:986. A delivery device is disclosed to deliver an amount of effervescent composition from the receptacle to the water or water-based liquid when the lid and container are coupled to form a seal, wherein the seal holds pressure when the water or water-based liquid is carbonated. The apparatus further includes a pressure release mechanism coupled to one of the container or lid to release pressure when the container and lid are sealed and when the pressure increases above a seal strength and before the apparatus containing carbonated water or water-based liquid is open, and a headspace between an inside portion of the lid and a height of the water or water-based liquid with a volume capacity for gas to provide sufficient pressure when sealed to force carbon dioxide gas into the water or water-based liquid contents as carbonic acid.
Spout Connector Reinforcement Ring Assembly
A spout connector and reinforcement ring assembly includes a rigid ring that is positioned around an exterior surface of an input connector of the spout and prevents expansion of the input connector as the input connector is screw threaded on a threaded opening of a container.
Lid for a container
A lid may be sized and configured to be attached to a container, and the lid may include an activator, a fluid-flow member, and a connecting member. The activator, the fluid-flow member and the connecting member may be pivotally connected. The activator, the fluid-flow member, and the connecting member may be movable between open and closed positions. When the activator, the fluid-flow member, and the connecting member are in the closed position, fluid may be prevented from exiting the container. When the activator, the fluid-flow member, and the connecting member are in the open position, fluid may exit the container through a fluid passageway.
