The invention relates to a closing device for a beverage container, comprising a closing body and a closing lid, said closing lid being mounted such that it can rotate, relative to the closing body, between a flow state and a sealed state. A liquid channel of the closing body is released in the flow state and blocked in the sealed state. A guide device is arranged between the closing lid and the closing body. The guide device has two preferred positions, which define the sealed state and the flow state. The rotatable mount between the closing lid and the closing body is in the form of a threaded mount.

A lid assembly for a beverage container having a lid housing, a seal assembly and a trigger member. The seal assembly has a drink seal to close the drink aperture. The seal assembly is rotatedly connected to the lid housing and movable between a use position and a cleaning position to allow the drink aperture to be open for cleaning. The trigger member is connected to the lid housing and is capable of engaging the seal assembly in the use position, but it cannot engage the seal assembly in the cleaning position. Additionally, a trigger lock is connected to the lid housing to prevent engagement of the seal assembly by the trigger member when the trigger lock is locked. The trigger lock may also contain a visual indicator to indicate that the lock is in the locked position.

Pushing the rotating knob (2), the moving component (4) can move together with the rotating shaft (21) of the rotating knob (2) relative to the water stopper (3), the locking portion of the moving component (4) driven by the rotating shaft (21) can move on the locking track (34) to press upward the water stopper (3). Therefore, the water stopper correspondingly seals both of the water outlet and the air inlet on the lid body. In this way, the water outlet on the rotary lid is closed. It is convenient for a user to operate.

The lid is selectively couplable to the beverage container and includes a selectively openable stopper that when closed, creates a fluid-tight seal between the beverage container and the environment. The stopper may be selectively opened by a user by the user pressing a button disposed on a side of the beverage container closure. The stopper is subsequently automatically closed when the user releases the button. Thus, a user may open and close the beverage container closure using a single hand without the need to remove the beverage container closure from the beverage container.

One or more parts of the kit of parts is configured and/or operable such that the collection vessel (300) is caused to be resealed into the sample containment configuration after sample collection before the collection vessel (300) is fully removed from the device.
