An aerator implements a drive system with an outboard transmission(s) in which the transmission(s) is arranged outwardly of a frame rail(s) of the aerator's chassis to deliver power to both a drive wheel(s) and a driven set of tines of a tine assembly. The tine assembly may include at least one non-driven or freewheeling set of tines between outer sets of driven tines. An adjustable depth control system allows for selecting a tine depth that can achieved through a single button push that lowers the tine assembly to the selected depth.

A core collector for collecting aeration cores lifted from a ground surface by a ground aerator machine includes a skid plate having a bottom surface opposite the ground surface and a top surface opposite the bottom surface. The skid plate has a plurality of openings in the skid plate extending between the top surface and the bottom surface at a proximal end of the skid plate. The plurality of openings are spaced apart from each other based on a spacing of extraction tines of the ground aerator machine. The core collector has at least one core clearing member. Aeration cores are deposited directly onto the top surface of the skid plate. The at least one core clearing member is configured to clear the aeration cores from the proximal end of the skid plate toward the distal end of the skid plate.

Turf Treatment Implement

A cylindrical turf treatment rotor adapted to be driven in rotation about a horizontal axis, and provided with wear-resistant teeth extending along one or more helical tracks on the rotor, the teeth being individually attached to the rotor so as to be capable of individual removal for replacement or refurbishing or for reconfiguring the rotor.

Tine depth stop mechanism for self-propelled, stand-on aerator
10130024 · 2018-11-20 · ·

In an aerator including a chassis mounted on wheels, a tine depth stop mechanism includes a base mounted on the chassis. A side wall is fixed to the base and has a plurality of apertures therein. A stop arm is movably mounted with respect to the side wall and has an abutment. The abutment has a periphery. A tine weldment is attached to the stop arm, and a tine wheel is rotatably mounted to the tine weldment. A pin passes through one of the apertures of the side wall and engages the periphery of the abutment of the stop arm. Upon a downward movement of the tine wheel, the stop arm moves with respect to the side wall until the pin abuts the periphery of the abutment, thus adjusting a maximum depth of the tine wheel below the chassis.
