Tines (120) of tine assemblies (100a, 100b, 104) are secured by a single bolt (126) extending diametrically through each tine (120) located in a cavity (112) of a tine plate (110), through the tine plate (110) and through an attachment ring (130). The attachment ring (130) of an outer tine assembly (104) is connected to a sleeve (116) rotatably mounted adjacent the outer ends on each of two independently rotatable shafts (102) to which inner tine assemblies (100a, 100b) are rotatably connected adjacent the inner ends of the two independently rotatable shafts (102). The attachment rings (130) of the inner tine assemblies (100a, 100b) are welded to the two independently rotatable shafts (102).

The tine assembly includes a plurality of tines, a pair of swing arms, and a linkage for selectively moving the pair of swing arms and the plurality of tines from the operating position to the retracted position. The pair of swing arms support the plurality of tines and are configured to rotate the plurality of tines between an operating position to a retracted position. The input is coupled to the linkage and the input is operable to active the linkage to move the pair of swing arms and the plurality of tines from the operating position to the retracted position.

The pneumatic means is arranged on the first supporting element. The aeration device further comprises a second supporting element, slidably attached to the first supporting element. A hydraulic means is attached to the first and second supporting elements. The first supporting element being movable via the hydraulic means from an initial parked position to a first position relative to the second supporting element.
