Stopper for closing a dispensing opening of a container
A stopper for closing a dispensing opening of a container which includes a body element having a top face and a bottom face, the bottom face being directed towards the inside of the container; a moving element which is situated at the top face of the body element, wherein the moving element is movable from an initial position in which the moving element does not extend beyond the top face in the plane of the top face, to an opening position in which the moving element is moved to extend at least partly beyond the outer extension of the top face, wherein the moving element provides, a gripping surface for a user to remove the body element from the dispensing opening. The moving element substantially covers the entire top face of the body element in the initial position.
Container with a child-proof lock
A container having a container body (2) comprises a container wall (3) and forms a receiving space (4) for goods to be packaged (5). The container comprises a discharge opening (6) for discharging the goods to be packaged (5) and a container closure (10) for closing the discharge opening (6). The container closure (10) comprises a lid (12) which can assume a closed position for closing the discharge opening (6) and an open position for opening the discharge opening (6). The container further comprises a child-proof lock (30) including first and second locking elements (18, 19). The first and second locking elements (18, 19) can assume a mutual locked position in which the lid (12) is fixed in the closed position, and wherein the first and second locking elements (18, 19) can be moved to a release position in which the lid (12) can be moved to the open position.
Two-Piece Child Resistant Container Lid with Push-Release Latch Arrangement
A child resistant lid features first and second lid components for covering respective fractions of a container opening. One or more latch arrangements releasably latch the components together in a closed state over the container opening, and each feature a latch hole defined in one of the components, and a latch tongue affixed to the other component. The tongue is sized and oriented to reach a position neighbouring the latch hole when the first and second lid components are mated together in the closed state. A catch button disposed on the latch tongue juts from a side thereof at a position that aligns with the latch hole in the closed state of the lid. The tongue is resiliently flexible in a bending direction, and resiliently biased into a default position that biases the catch button into the latch hole when the lid components are mated together.
Container closures
A lid is disclosed herein. The lid comprises a base comprising a peripheral edge and a skirt extending downward from the peripheral edge. The skirt comprises a pair of release tabs diametrically opposite from one another. Each of the pair of release tabs are defined by a first cut and a second cut within the skirt which separates the release tab from the remainder of the skirt. Each of the release tabs is hingedly connected to the base. Each of the pair of the release tabs extend upwardly from the base, opposite the skirt. Each release tab further comprises a latching protrusion extending radially inward from an inner surface of the release tab towards a central axis of the lid.
Restricted access container
A restricted access container may include an outer shell and an inner tray. The outer shell may define a recess. The outer shell may include a first wall, a second wall, a third wall, and an opening. The first wall may include a hole and a notch. The second wall may be opposite the first wall. The third wall may be coupled to each of the first wall and the second wall. The opening may be opposite the third wall. The inner tray may define a receiving area. The inner tray may include a tab, a first protrusion, and a second protrusion. The first protrusion may be disposed on the tab. The inner tray may be inserted through the opening into the recess of the outer shell such that the first protrusion is disposed within the hole of the first wall to fix the inner tray to the outer shell and the second protrusion is disposed within the notch.
Child Resistant Storage Container
The present invention provides a child-resistant storage container having a base and a lid. The base comprises a base panel, and a base wall having a lower portion and an upper portion configuring a cavity to store items therein. The base has a plurality of protrusions arranged on the outer surface of an upper portion of the base wall and adapted to engage with an inward projection of the lid to securely attach the lid to the base. Further, the lid has a cutout portion arranged at the first end portion of the lid configuring a fulcrum. The lid is pivotable around a fulcrum upon applying a force on the lid to partially open the lid. Further, the user has to pull the lid in an upward direction from a second end portion of the lid to completely detach the lid. The storage container meets the federal standard for Child-resistance.
Pill container and methods
A child resistant pill container includes a locking feature, which can be unlocked using a knob. The knob can be a rotatable knob or a slide knob. The knob will be fixed or locked in place until being released/unlocked by squeezing an actuator. The squeeze action allows the knob to move out of its fixed position and move by either rotation or linearly sliding. The motion of the knob moves a lock bar from its locked position to an unlocked position. While the lock bar is in the unlocked position, one or more of the lids can be unlatched and lifted from their closed position to an open position. When the knob is released, a spring action returns the knob back to the fixed (locked) position, moving the lock bar back into the locked position, and any lids still in the closed position are again locked in place.
Axial center lock, grip release telescoping package
A telescoping package assembly includes a plug portion and a cap portion each including a flat surface. One of the respective flat surfaces includes a series of lock openings and the other includes a lock projection that is selectively receivable in any one of the series of lock openings to adjust a length of the telescoping package assembly. A grip portion extends from the cap portion which is operable to deflect the flat internal surface and release the lock projection from one of the series of lock openings when subjected to an applied pressing force.
