FLIP TOP CLOSURE AND CONTAINER
A closure (10) of the flip-top type, and a closure combined with a bottle or other container The closure comprises a cap base (12) which can be releasably fastened to a package (74), the cap base including an opening. A closing flap (16) is movably attached to the cap base and is suitable, when it is in a closed position, for preventing egress of a liquid from the package through the pot cap base opening. The closing flap has a locking flap extending therefrom, and movably attached to the closing flap. A locking flap fastener (70) is provided for releasably securing the locking flap to the cap base or to the package to prevent inadvertent opening of the closure during transport and use by the consumer. The locking flap (38) may be tucked within the closing flap during normal use and used to lock the closing flap during transport. The locking flap may be disposed in a recess (20) in the cap base.
Restricted Access Container
A restricted access container may include an outer shell and an inner tray. The outer shell may define a recess. The outer shell may include a first wall, a second wall, a third wall, and an opening. The first wall may include a hole and a notch. The second wall may be opposite the first wall. The third wall may be coupled to each of the first wall and the second wall. The opening may be opposite the third wall. The inner tray may define a receiving area. The inner tray may include a tab, a first protrusion, and a second protrusion. The first protrusion may be disposed on the tab. The inner tray may be inserted through the opening into the recess of the outer shell such that the first protrusion is disposed within the hole of the first wall to fix the inner tray to the outer shell and the second protrusion is disposed within the notch.
CHILD-RESISTANT CONTAINER FOR TOBACCO-CONTAINING PRODUCTS
The present disclosure relates to child-resistant containers and methods of making same for oral products made or derived from tobacco, incorporate tobacco, or may be tobacco-free and are intended for human consumption.
PILL CONTAINER AND METHODS
A child resistant pill container includes a locking feature, which can be unlocked using a knob. The knob can be a rotatable knob or a slide knob. The knob will be fixed or locked in place until being released/unlocked by squeezing an actuator. The squeeze action allows the knob to move out of its fixed position and move by either rotation or linearly sliding. The motion of the knob moves a lock bar from its locked position to an unlocked position. While the lock bar is in the unlocked position, one or more of the lids can be unlatched and lifted from their closed position to an open position. When the knob is released, a spring action returns the knob back to the fixed (locked) position, moving the lock bar back into the locked position, and any lids still in the closed position are again locked in place.
LOCKABLE CONTAINER FOR PREVENTING ACCESS TO CONTENTS BY A CHILD
Children are notorious for getting into things in their parent's bags and purses. Children can find dangerous substances at ground level and ingest them or create messes. Lockable containers disclosed herein can include a small bag or other container with a multi-step locking zipper. The locking mechanism of the lockable container secures items within the interior of the container and away from children. The lockable container uses a snap latch locking system. Such locking feature is effortless for adults but difficult or impossible for children to open.
Child-Resistant Lid and Related Methods
Disclosed is a child-resistant beverage lid with a cover and a locking mechanism, wherein a cover can be locked in place to prevent a user from accessing the top and contents of a can. The child-resistant beverage lid is also configured to be a multi-use lid because once secured to the top of the can, the cover can be locked in place over the lid and unlocked to be opened multiple times.
PACKAGE CONTAINING WATER-SOLUBLE CAPSULES
A package comprising at least one layer of biodegradable material and containing a plurality of unit dose products, at least one unit dose product comprising a detergent composition comprising hydrogenated castor oil within a sealed compartment formed by a water soluble film.
CHILD-RESISTANT BOX
A child-resistant box that includes a container and a pivotally coupled closure. The closure includes one or more projections that can engage with the rolled rim of the container for securing the closure to the container. Under an external downwards force on the closure, the one or more projections can snap over the rolled rim. The closure can be opened by depressing a front wall of the container resulting in the rim moving inwards past one or more projections. Once the rim disengages from the one or more projections, the closure can be lifted and the box opened.
Tab release child safety feature
A child-resistant container including a container body, a lid, and at least one resilient tab is provided. The lid is pivotable about an axis through a hinge joining the lid to the container body to open and close the container. The resilient tab has a proximal portion fixed to the lid, a distal portion projecting from the lid, and at least one abutment on the distal portion. The abutment on the distal portion of the tab is normally biased into engagement with an abutment on the container body when the lid is in its closed position. The distal portion of the tab is displaceable against the bias to disengage the abutment of the tab from the abutment of the container. Displacement of the tab releases the lid so that it can be pivoted about the hinge to open the container.
CHILD-RESISTANT CONTAINER FOR TOBACCO-CONTAINING PRODUCTS
The present disclosure relates to child resistant containers and methods of making same for products made or derived from tobacco, or that otherwise incorporate tobacco, and are intended for human consumption.
