Child-resistant container
Various embodiments of containers are described having a base and a cap that is configured to couple with the base. The base includes a housing having a hollow interior, with the housing extending upwardly from an upper surface of the base. The base also includes a set of flexible tabs that are configured to flex when a force is applied. The housing has a set of outward projections, each of which is configured to be inserted into a recessed portion or notch of the cap when the cap is coupled with the base. The cap further includes a set of downward projections that contact the flexible tabs, such that a downward force applied to the cap causes the flexible tabs to flex downwardly, and the projections of the housing to move within the first and second recessed portions.
Beverage container closure
A beverage container closure or lid that is adapted for closing an open end of a beverage container. The lid is selectively couplable to the beverage container and includes a selectively openable stopper that when closed, creates a fluid-tight seal between the beverage container and the environment. The stopper may be selectively opened by a user by the user pressing a button disposed on a side of the beverage container closure. The stopper is subsequently automatically closed when the user releases the button. Thus, a user may open and close the beverage container closure using a single hand without the need to remove the beverage container closure from the beverage container.

Closure With False Thread For A Package
A closure includes a polymeric top wall portion, a polymeric annular skirt portion, and a polymeric tamper-evident band. The polymeric annular skirt portion depends from the polymeric top wall portion. The annular skirt portion includes an internal thread formation for mating engagement with an external thread formation of a container, and first and second false threads. The internal thread formation includes a first closure lead and a second closure lead. Each of the first and second closure leads is in the form of a helix. Each of the false threads is located on roughly opposing sides of the closure. The first false thread assists in maintaining the contact between the first closure lead and a first finish lead of the container. The second false thread assists in maintaining the contact between the second closure lead and a second finish lead of the container. The polymeric tamper-evident band depends from and is at least partially detachably connected to the polymeric annular skirt portion by a frangible connection.
CHILD-RESISTANT COVER
Child-resistant covers for a lid are presented including: a planar surface; arcuate side surfaces disposed perpendicular to the planar surface, the arcuate side surfaces positioned equidistant from one another and creating gaps that provide fingertip access to the lid; and a number of locking tabs disposed along a lower edge of each of the arcuate side surfaces to capture the lid. In some embodiments, child-resistant covers further include: a number of tamper-evident seals disposed along the gaps.
Re-sealable container for a controlled substance having a child resistant lid
Provided is a re-sealable container for storing, preserving, identifying, tracking and transporting a federally controlled substance having a child resistant and senior friendly lid, and a process for identifying and tracking federally controlled substances within the re-sealable containers. The re-sealable federally controlled substance containers include a two-piece child resistant and senior friendly lid and a 2-factor authentication identification tag, as well as a microchip for identifying the container controlled substance contents and tracking the container. Controlled substance contents within the re-sealable containers are optimized for long term storage by removal of the oxygen therein, and the containers and controlled substance contents can be readily identified, detected, tracked and traced after being filled with a federally controlled substance.
CHILD RESISTANT SNUFF CONTAINER
A snuff container (101), comprising a base part (102) and a closure part (103) and being provided with a locking arrangement (120) for locking the closure part on the base part (102). The base part (102) comprises a bottom wall (105), a base side wall (107) and a compartment wall (117) arranged inward of the base side wall (107) with a space (114) between the base side wall (107) and the compartment wall (117). A portion of the base side wall (107) is formed by a resiliently flexible tongue (133), with an upper part of the tongue (133) being inwardly deflectable in a direction towards the compartment wall (117). The locking arrangement (120) comprising a first locking member (122) is arranged on an upper part (135) of the resiliently flexible tongue (133) and a second locking member (123) is arranged on the closure part (103) at a closure side wall end edge (113). The locking arrangement (120) is arranged to assume a locked configuration and a release configuration in which the upper part (135) of the resiliently flexible tongue (133) is in an inwardly deflected position.
CHILD-RESISTANT CONTAINER
A child-resistant container that includes a cap and a bottle portion. The cap includes several inner engagement features protruding radially inwardly and the finish of the bottle portion includes a protrusion disposed about the opening with an overhanging ledge. Slots in the ledge correspond to the engagement features. In one particular embodiment, the cap includes two different length circumferential engagement features and two triangular engagement features.
