Container with button release

A container includes container body (120) defining an interior (122) and an opening (124) leading to the interior. A lid (140) is movable with respect to the container body to move the container between a closed position in which the lid covers the opening and an opened position in which the opening is exposed. A housing (180) is affixed to an upper portion of the container body, adjacent to the opening. A release (160) is movably housed within the housing. The release is configured to move between a locked position in which the release retains the lid in the closed position, and an unlocked position, in which the release permits the lid to move into the opened position. The release moves from the locked position to the unlocked position by a first movement in a radially inward direction of the container, followed by a second movement in an axially upward direction of the container.

Closure with sequenced double release

A child-resistant closure for a container. The closure has a first groove and a second groove formed into a base. A cap covers an opening in the base. The cap can rotate between a closed position, a primed position and an open position. The cap has a nub that engages the first groove on the base, when in its closed position, engages the second groove on the base when in its primed position, and is free of any groove when in its open position. A mechanical activator is coupled to the base with a teeter connection. The mechanical activator displaces the cap from the closed position to the primed position when a first section of the mechanical activator is depressed. The mechanical activator displaces the cap from the primed position to the open position when a second section of the mechanical activator is depressed.

Container time indicator with a device for inhibiting the removal of the cap

A time programmable container that includes a base for containing the object, a lid, a base, and a spacer which is positioned intermediate the lid and the base. The spacer is positionable in a select one of a plurality of positions on the base. The spacer and the base contain time indicia such that each of the plurality of positions that the spacer can be placed upon the base corresponds to a different of time indication. The base includes members to secure the spacer in the select one position. The lid includes a cavity on the bottom surface of a lip which mates with a tab on the spacer, such that when the spacer is placed upon the base and the lid is threaded onto the base, the tab secures prevents the removal of the lid from the base without first removing the tab from the cavity.

Child resistant packaging
12187509 · 2025-01-07 · ·

Child resistant packaging for storing medicine or medicinal compositions that frustrates or prevents a child's attempts to access the contents while permitting an adult to easily open the packaging through a series of movements or steps in coordination or combination to readily access the contents. The child resistant packaging includes a housing component and an insert component that is configured to slideably interact with an interior space of the housing component between a locked configuration and an unlocked configuration.

MODULAR SYSTEM FOR INVENTORY AND TRANSPORT EFFICIENCY OF PACKAGING

Disclosed herein are modular container systems having child-resistant containers, tray inserts and tray frames. Also disclosed are methods using the modular container systems and methods of storing substances in containers. The containers have a container base and a container cap and provide for child-resistant containers. A user can releasably remove the container cap from container base with a squeeze and lift sequence. For example, the user squeezes opposite sides of the container base, which releases a locking mechanism and allows for removal of the cap by lifting or pulling the container cap off from the container base. The components of the modular container system are modular and stackable. The modular system allow for organized, efficient, accessible and storage of the child-resistant containers. The modular container system also allows for easy counting, sorting and processing of the containers.

CONTAINER HAVING A CHILD RESISTANT CLOSURE WITH A SMALL PROFILE

Disclosed are methods for opening containers having child resistant closures. The methods include applying inward radial pressure on a resilient guard of a container to deflect the guard inwardly, followed by applying upward pressure to an exposed front tab of a cap of the container to open the cap.

Telescoping Carton
20250100763 · 2025-03-27 ·

A carton comprising an inner construct that can comprise a plurality of inner panels and a first opening for at least partially receiving one or more products. The inner construct can comprise an inner locking tab foldably connected to at least one inner panel. The carton further can comprise an outer construct comprising a plurality of outer panels extending at least partially around at least a portion of the inner construct and a second opening. The outer construct can comprise an outer locking tab foldably connected to at least one outer panel. The inner locking tab and the outer locking tab can cooperate to limit movement between the inner construct and the outer construct. At least the inner locking tab is moveable with respect to the outer locking tab for allowing the inner construct to move from a first position at least partially through the second opening to a second position.

Child resistant package

A child resistant package comprising a child-resistant packaging containing there within a solid food item comprising a medicine, wherein the packaging has the shape of a box. The packaging is provided with a perforation and the solid food item is provided with a void, such as a recess, cut, indentation or hole. The perforation defines a portion of the packaging that is separated at least in part from the remainder of the packaging when the perforation is pierced/punched. The position and shape of the void in the solid food item and the perforation in the packaging correspond, such that, when opening the packaging, the void in the food item facilitates piercing the perforation by enabling the portion of the packaging defined by the perforation to be pushed into the void in the solid food item.

Container having a child resistant closure with a small profile

A container includes a body defining an interior and an opening that leads to the interior. A cap removably affixes over the opening to move the container between an opened position and a closed position. A child resistant closure moves between an engaged position and a disengaged position, and prevents moving the container from the closed position to the opened position when in the engaged position.
