Child resistant closure system
A closure system includes a container and a closure. The container including a rim extending perpendicular to the side wall, the rim including a locking lug extending from an upper surface of the rim and a break disposed in the rim adjacent to the locking tab, the break operable to form a deflectable locking portion of the rim. The closure including a side wall, a flange extending perpendicular to the side wall, and a locking lug disposed within the flange for engaging the corresponding locking lug of the container. The flange substantially covers the upper surface of the rim of the container and includes a gap portion disposed adjacent to the locking lug for allowing a user to deflect the deflectable locking portion of the container through the gap portion in the flange to disengage the locking lug of the container from the locking lug of the closure.
Double safe child resistant cap
A double safe child resistant cap for medicine containers includes a cap with a cap main structure having a side wall and a top, and including: a) a first safe child resistant cap mechanism requiring compound movement to unlock; and b) a second safe child resistant cap mechanism including (i) a coupling rod attached to said cap main structure top and extending upwardly and (ii) a push-pull valve connected to said container for dispensing therefrom, said push-pull valve having a force-fit coupling rod receiver, wherein said push-pull valve has a down closed position and an up position, which is an open position to permit dispensing. Another embodiment includes a dosage cup with the coupling rod in place of a cap top coupling rod.
CHILD RESISTANT CONTAINER AND METHOD OF OPENING SAME
A child resistant container is for containing at least one product, such as medicine. The child resistant container includes a body, a lid, and a directing portion. The body has an end portion defining an opening leading to an interior of the body. The lid is connected to the body via a hinge, and includes a cover portion and a protrusion extending outwardly therefrom. The cover portion is configured to move between a FIRST position corresponding to the cover portion covering the opening, and a SECOND position corresponding to the cover portion not covering the opening. The directing portion extends from one of the body and the cover portion, and at least partially encloses the protrusion when the cover portion is in the FIRST position. When the cover portion moves from the FIRST position to the SECOND position, the protrusion moves away from the directing portion.
Secure shipping container
A secure shipping container includes an inner sleeve formed in the shape of a tray that can be inserted into an outer sleeve formed as a tube with one closed end and one open end. The inner sleeve is sized to be shorter than the outer sleeve so that when full inserted into the outer sleeve the contents of the tray are not accessible, and the inner sleeve is not removable without a special opening tool. Each sleeve includes a slot into which an opener can be inserted to permit a user to slide the inner sleeve out of the outer sleeve in order to access the contents of the container. A method of assembly of the components and use to ship materials is also described.
Delivery rack and delivery vehicle
A rack includes: a casing; M pairs of supports that are provided inside the casing so as to extend in a depth direction and arrayed at regular intervals in an up-down direction; and a lock mechanism that locks returnable containers each housed while being supported so as to be slidable along one pair of supports. The casing of the rack is divided into N rows by (N1) partition plates, with the M pairs of supports provided in each row, to be able to house a maximum of (MN) returnable containers. The lock mechanism is provided in each of the (N1) partition plates so as to extend through the partition plate and correspond to each tier, and simultaneously locks two returnable containers that are housed adjacent to each other on one side and the other side of the partition plate.
