The annular fitting may be configured to mate with a portable fuel canister. The fitting may include sidewalls forming a channel for liquid fuel, an outer wall enveloping a portion of the sidewall forming a chamber proximate the liquid channel, and an atmospheric orifice formed in the outer wall. The sealing surface may be disposed proximal the orifice. The spring may be configured to bias the stopper into contact with the sealing surface such that the chamber is in selective pressure-dependent fluid communication with an atmosphere outside the device.

Flow control nozzle
10144632 · 2018-12-04 ·

Liquid container nozzles including a valve handle, valve body, spool, and spout assembly, where the valve body may move slidingly into the valve handle over the spool to control the flow of liquid through the nozzle. Liquid flow may be controlled by adjusting the position of the valve body in relation to the valve handle and spool using varying force or pressure. The spool may include one or more holes to control the flow of liquid. In some examples of the invention, the spool may narrow in an S-shaped fashion, and the holes of the spool may be located on a portion of the spool that narrows to form S-shaped holes. These holes may swirl liquid as it is poured from the nozzle to create a more uniform flow.

20180312321 · 2018-11-01 ·

A food and beverage Appliance is described which enables storage and consumption of a food and beverage snack, such as cereal and milk, in a portable form factor suitable to consume the snack while in motion or during or after traveling. The Appliance stores the food and beverage separately to preserve the crispiness and freshness. It dispenses the food and beverage separately and non-simultaneously to preserve the crispiness and freshness until tasting, and to allow the user to control exactly the size of each portion dispensed. The Appliance prevents leakage of the beverage out it its container, whether during filling, storage, traveling, or dispensing, to avoid getting the food soggy prior to dispensing and to avoid messes. The Appliance includes unique functional elements to make these uses possible and make its use personal and customizable, practical, desirable, safe, non-messy, easily cleanable, and preferred, thus literally enabling a new revolution in healthy snacking. Novel features make it either reusable or disposable. It is also ideal for a use in and creating a new revenue category for takeout restaurants and to increase customer traffic, and also ideal for pre-packaged retail applications to boost food sales.

Beverage container pouring cap
10106302 · 2018-10-23 ·

A pouring cap for a container automatically opens to pour the contents when tilted, and automatically closes when pouring is complete. The cap is affixed to the container along a bottom portion and to a locking upper lid along a top portion. An internal valve is provided which is guided vertically within the cap which covers a plurality of pouring apertures. When the cap and container are upturned during pouring, the valve is displaced to uncover the pouring apertures. When the container is downturned following pouring, the valve moves downwardly to cover the pouring apertures. When the locking upper lid is installed, it biases the valve to securely cover the pouring apertures.

Seal mechanism for beverage container

A lid assembly for a beverage container having a lid housing, a seal assembly and a trigger member. The seal assembly has one or more drink seals that engage a corresponding one or more drink apertures to close the drink apertures. The seal assembly is rotatedly connected to the lid housing and movable between a use position and a cleaning position for cleaning. The trigger member is connected to the lid housing and is capable of engaging the seal assembly in the use position, but not in the cleaning position. The trigger member is connected to the seal assembly such that the vent aperture is opened during a first portion of the operation of the trigger, and the drink apertures are opened during a second portion of the operation of the trigger so that the vent aperture is opened before the drink apertures.
