End closure with venting
An easy-opening end closure that may also be reclosed, suitable for joining to a container. A cover panel is bonded around its perimeter to an end panel with a rotatable lever interposed between them. To open the closure, a user applies force to the rotating lever to move it axially around an attachment point and thereby progressively debonding a substantial portion of the bond perimeter. The closure incorporates means for equilibrating pressure in the internal headspace of the container with the outside ambient for improved pouring.
Closure debonding system
An easy-opening end closure that may also be reclosed, suitable for joining to a container. A cover panel is bonded around its perimeter to an end panel with a rotatable lever interposed between them. To open the closure, a user applies force to the rotating lever to move it axially around an attachment point thereby engaging integrated mechanisms to progressively debond segments of the perimeter seal.
Lid for containers under vacuum
A closure includes an overcap having an annular skirt, and an annular wall extending inwardly from the skirt. A lid is carried by the overcap radially within the annular skirt, and includes a hub, and an annular margin extending radially outwardly with respect to the hub, and having upper and lower surfaces. An annular container seal extends circumferentially continuously around the annular margin. One or more vents may extend through the annular margin between the upper and lower surfaces thereof at one or more discrete circumferential locations radially inward with respect to the container seal. One or more vent seals may be disposed at the one or more vents between the lid and the overcap.
Dual chamber reagent mixing container
Described is an automated reagent mixing container for separately storing and automatically mixing together at least two stored reagent components.
LID ASSEMBLY FOR CUP
A lid assembly generally includes a shell body, a sealing member, and a nut. The shell body has a top portion and a circumferential portion. The shell body defines a water outlet and an air vent at an annular top surface thereof, and defines a through hole at a recessed surface thereof. The circumferential portion is provided at its outer surface with upper and lower flanges and connection means. The sealing member has a connection wing and a central shaft. The connection wing is provided with two pads capable of sealing the water outlet and the air vent, respectively. In use, the sealing member can be rotated forwardly to seal the water outlet and the air vent, thereby closing a cup fitted with the assembly. When drinking the beverage contained in the cup, the sealing member can be rotated reversely to uncover the water outlet and the air vent.
CONTAINER WITH A LID AND THREADED CLOSURE MECHANISM
The container with a lid and threaded closure mechanism includes a receptacle having a mouth surrounded by a thread, a lid, a sealing ring and a closure mechanism formed by a disc with a hollow interior and a perimetral tubular skirt provided with an engagement configuration complementary to the thread of the receptacle. The closure mechanism surrounds the lid and holds it against the mouth of the receptacle by means of a threaded attachment between the engagement configuration of the closure mechanism and the thread of the receptacle, assuring proper hermetic closure of the lid with the receptacle in cooperation with the sealing ring. The lid and the closure mechanism have mutually engaging elements with a complementary non-circular geometry and size, with both elements being tightly fitted preventing relative rotation of the closure mechanism with respect to the lid.
LID FOR LIQUID MATERIAL STORAGE CONTAINER, AND LIQUID MATERIAL STORAGE CONTAINER
A lid for a liquid material storage container solves problems of uplift and breakage of the lid, and ensures high efficiency in attachment and detachment operations. The lid includes an upper plate portion covering a flange and a large-diameter opening of a storage cylinder; a plug portion extending downward from a central region of the upper plate portion and plugging the large-diameter opening of the storage cylinder; a pair of first lateral portions coming into contact with lateral surfaces of a pair of short sides of the flange when the lid is closed; a pair of claw portions extending from the pair of first lateral portions toward the plug portion and coming into contact with lower surfaces of the pair of short sides of the flange when the lid is closed; and a push-up operating portion formed in at least one of the pair of first lateral portions.
CLOSURE LATCHING SYSTEM
An easy-opening end closure that may also be reclosed, suitable for joining to a container. A cover panel is bonded around its perimeter to an end panel with a rotatable lever interposed between them. To open the closure, a user applies force to the rotating lever to move it axially around an attachment point and progressively debond the seal perimeter. In this process, latching mechanisms ensure uni-directional movement of the lever relative to the shutter and joining of the two components at the end of the rotational sweep.
