A lid and scoop assembly for a container is disclosed.

A container for a powdered nutritional product is provided, the container comprising a can having a base and an upstanding sidewall defining an interior space, the sidewall extending to a rim defining an opening to the interior space, a seal attached to the rim and serving to sealingly close the opening, wherein the seal is provided with a scoop recess formed between the seal and a blister element connected to the seal. Additionally, a lid is provided having an upper part and a lower part, wherein the lower part has a greater radius than the upper part, and wherein the radius of the upper part is smaller than the radius of the rim of the can. Further, a scoop is provided for use with the described container, the scoop comprising a bowl and a handle attached to an upper part of the bowl, the handle extending downwardly away from the bowl forming a downward extension until reaching a deflection point, and extending horizontally away from the bowl from said deflection point thereby forming a horizontal extension.

An assembly is disclosed. The assembly includes a container and a utensil. The container includes a bowl portion defined by a bottom wall and a side wall extending from the bottom wall. The side wall and the bottom wall are each defined by an inner surface that forms a cavity of the bowl portion. The utensil is disposed within the cavity and is removably-secured to the inner surface of the side wall that defines the bowl portion of the container. An assembly is also disclosed. A method is also disclosed.

The present invention provides a packaging container for bulk solids. The container comprises a container body having a container wall extending from a container bottom to a container opening in a height direction of the container. The container wall and the container bottom delimit an inner space in the container, and a first peelable or tearable sealing membrane being attached to an inner surface of the container wall forms a roof over a first inner compartment in the inner space. A second peelable or tearable sealing membrane is applied between the first peelable or tearable sealing membrane and an edge of the container opening and is attached to the inner surface of the container wall. The first peelable or tearable sealing membrane forms a floor of a second inner compartment in the inner space and the second peelable or tearable sealing membrane forms a roof over the second inner compartment.

A packaging lid for mounting over an opening of a packaging container. The lid includes a top side that in a mounted state extends over an opening of the container and a skirt extending from the top side. The skirt has on an inner side thereof resilient members adapted to cooperate with an outwardly projecting ridge on an outer side of the circumferential wall of the container so as to secure the lid to the container. The resilient members are formed as resilient elongate strips having two ends attached to the inner side of the skirt and formed as an arch which, in an unloaded state, has a rise with respect to the inner side of the skirt.

A container (100) for scoopable material including a container body (102) defining a reservoir to hold the scoopable material, a collar (106) attached to the container body, a lid (108) hingedly attached to the collar, and a leveler (114) extending from the underside of the lid.

A lid for a food jar is described that may be used to store and transport food items. The lid includes a storage compartment. A sliding door extends from the lid to open or reveal the compartment, and the sliding door retracts to the lid to cover or conceal the compartment. The lid functions with a variety of containers including insulated or uninsulated structures to store the food items, possibly at warmed or chilled temperatures for later consumption.

An ergonomic leakproof travel container comprising a body member having a front side, a back side, and a continuous sidewall, wherein the continuous sidewall has an outer surface and inner surface forming a hollow interior; a first lid member hingedly attached to the body member via a first hinge member; a second lid member independent from the first lid member, wherein the second lid member is hingedly attached to the body member via the first hinge member, a chambered storage insert sized and shaped to fit in the hollow interior; a latch member attached to a second hinge member on the front side, wherein the latch member is configured to secure the first lid and second lid in a closed position; a first gasket positioned between the body member and the second lid creating a first leakproof seal; and a second gasket positioned between the chambered storage insert and the second lid creating a second leakproof seal.

The invention is directed to a canister for packaging and delivering a product such as, but not limited to, infant formula. The canister of the invention includes a container and cover. The cover includes a base and a lid with the base including an easy-open sealing material and/or a utensil for dispensing the product and docking station for holding the utensil when not in use. This invention is further directed to an apparatus and method for the in-line sterilization of the cover during the manufacture thereof. The invention is further directed to an apparatus and method for the in-line detection of leaks in the canister for quality assurance.
