Apparatus and method(s) according to which a first container lid is sealingly engaged against a container body. Once so sealingly engaged, a first portion of the first container lid is detachable from, and re-attachable to, the container body. A security band remains attached to a neck of the container body when the first portion of the container lid is detached from the container body. In one or more embodiments, when detached from the container body, the first portion of the container lid remains connected to the security band via a tether. The tether is formed substantially within security band. The container body is adapted to be stacked onto a second container lid so that a first three-dimensional profile of the second container lid matingly receives a second three-dimensional profile of the container body. In one or more embodiments, the second container lid is identical to the first container lid.

A waste containment and isolating system used for storing and isolating waste materials in a way that closure of the device and isolating the waste is done remotely and in a way that the user does not need to come in contact with the waste or the containment device is disclosed. The device comprises of a bag containing a drawstring threaded through the center of a flexible tab that is wedged in a fixed position such that pulling on the drawstring portion behind the tab draws in the bag opening into a closed mouth, drawing the closed mouth toward the tab and flexing the tab onto the closed mouth to seal it and prevent odiferous gasses from leaking out.

Adapter for connecting a dispenser to a container

An adapter includes a body piece with an open container end side and a dispenser end side opposite to the container end side, and a collar piece arranged around the body piece. The dispenser end side of the body piece has an orifice. The body piece has a longitudinal axis, a cylindrical outer surface, and a cylindrical inner surface with a container thread oriented towards the container end side. The cylindrical outer surface of the body piece is equipped with a cap thread oriented towards the dispenser end side. The cap thread is arranged to interact with an inner thread of the cap for providing a child resistant closure. A collar piece is connected to the body piece that is freely rotatable relative to the body piece around the longitudinal axis of the body piece. The adapter can be used for efficiently and safely connecting a dispenser to container.

Container closure cap and container closure

A tamper indicating closure cap or overseal comprises a top wall, and an annular top wall skirt attached to a periphery of the top wall. A locking member is attached to the top wall skirt so as to be movable between: i) a first position projecting inwardly with respect to the top wall for application of the closure cap or overseal to a container opening and/or to a container closure plug and ii) a second position projecting inwardly and upwardly towards the top wall, thereby to lock the closure cap or overseal to the container closure and/or closure plug.

Closure device

The present invention relates to a closure device (1) for a container (2) in which a flowable material (3) is stored, comprising a base element (4), which can be fastened on a container opening (5) of the container (2), a spout (11) with a dispensing opening (7), whereby the spout (11) is positioned inboard of the base element (4), and a lid (8) connected to the base element (4) by a hinge (12), whereby the lid (8) can be moved back and forth between a closed position (9) in which the lid (8) closes the dispensing opening (7) so that the spout (11) is not accessible and an open position (10) in which the spout (11) is accessible, tamper evidence indication means (13) for visually indicating if the lid (8) of the closure device (1) has once been moved out of its closed position (9), whereby the tamper evidence indication means (13) comprise a first indication ring (14) and at least a second indication ring (15) which is co-axially arranged in the first indication ring (14).

PACKAGING UNIT

A removable sealing strip and method is provided for sealing a lid removably secured to a top portion of a container. The removable sealing strip includes a strip removably affixed to a substrate and has a first portion extending from a first end thereof, a second portion extending from the first portion, and a third portion extending between the second portion of the strip and a second end thereof. The strip is foldable along a fold line such that an inner surface of the first portion of strip binds to an to inner surface of the second portion of the strip so as to define a tab on the strip. The inner surface of the third portion of the strip is affixable to the lid and to the top portion of the container to substantially inhibits removal of the lid from the top portion of the container. The tab is configured to facilitate removal of the third portion of the strip from the lid and the top portion of the container.

SINGLE USE CAP
20240217714 · 2024-07-04 ·

The disclosed principles provide for single use caps that may be applied to any of a number of receptacles, containers, vessels, needless connectors, or other device. A single use cap as disclosed herein includes a component that, when the cap is threaded onto a receptacle or device, is moved from an unused to a used position by the twisting force applied to the cap when secured onto the receptacle or device. Specifically, once the threads of the receptacle or device are received into the cap and a twisting or tightening force is continued to be applied to the cap, the continued twisting force causes this component to rotate laterally so that once the cap is removed from the receptacle or device, the threads of the cap are no longer reachable by the threads on the receptacle or device.
